I agree with you, Mattel shouldn't have advertised Woody as having a closed smile if he didn't have actually have one. I don't like the buttons and the vest printed on plaid shirt either, they should've been separated. Even the 1995 - 96 Woody did that, but at least this is somewhat a more accurate Woody despite some of the missing details.

Excellent review! I was so excited for this because of the face sculpt because I wanted to reenact the opening of Toy Story. I wonder why they changed it? Modding it with the 7 inch figure would look funny. That's something Sid would do!

I actually think it’s kind of movie accurate in terms of size. In TS3, during the scene where Andy is contemplating giving Woody away, when Andy has woody in his hands, he seems to be a small toy, and I think this toy has that down

So the toys change size in the movie for certain scenes but we know Woody is suppose to be 16 inches with hat as said by Pixar studio and with their digital Pixar data they released to us. So no this Woody is not movie accurate size but it’s still cool for what it is.

I honestly think I’m this woody is pretty good, the print looks better, the jeans look beautiful, the pull string isn’t perfect but really good. The holster is incredibly nice, since it moves, the hair is a bit red tho, I’d say it’s worth it.

The box art is REALLY weird, especially the large one on the back as it looks like they took the prototype picture and photoshopped a smile onto him. I wonder if the face change was made later into production. Either way, he looks interesting, and I can’t wait for mine to arrive! I bought this piece at a local store in my city center yesterday. I live in Mexico, so it is the latin version, I must say that the piece is nice but not very impressive, and a bit expensive in my opinion, since they could have added more details for what it costs. Even though it's not movie accurate size or doesn't have the movie accurate Toy mode expression, I still think that this is a fun looking Woody doll, what I like the most about it is the jeans even though they're printed on and not real denim jeans like a 2009 Toy story collection Woody, I really like the color it looks accurate to the movie more specifically the first Toy story movie, hopefully I can get this but I wouldn't include it with my Toy story collection but this would just be an on the side Woody doll to just have lying around, or sitting on my nightstand to keep me company, so maybe and hopefully I can get this, he looks pretty good to me. @@todayigrewup that's true, and I agree with what you said in this video, they should most definitely take those photos down because it's very misleading, because when I personally look at a advertised photo of a action figure I would expect to get it in the same way that it was advertised, by the way yesterday I just picked up my Roundup fun Woody doll, and despite it s not accurate size I still really like it, it still looks like Woody nonetheless, but it would have been better if they could have given us a closed mouth smile version, because honestly to me he looks like a smaller version of the Toy story collection Woody with the expression that's he has, and honestly to me he's more floppier than the collection Woody, that's probably what I like the most about it, and I also like that when you pull a strings out of all of the things that he says one of my favorites is when he says, there's poison in the water hole, now to my knowledge all the Woody dolls that I have had growing up never said that phrase, even though the Toy story collection one said pretty much all the phrases that the Toy mode version of what he said in the movie that phrase was probably the only phrase that he didn't say, now just to be clear, I'm not hating on the Toy story collection Woody at all, that's still an amazing Woody, but I'm just saying that there's certain things I like about the Roundup fun Woody doll.

@@smb-c3po nice 🙂 I want to the Target store and got mine, he is a very nice looking Woody doll despite not being the accurate height, when this Woody was announced along with the other Mattel figures for 2022 I was kind of going back and forth whether or not to get this because I was satisfied with my Toy story collection white logo Woody, but like I said he seems like a very nice looking Woody doll so I thought why not purchase him, and given the fact that he's only $30 you can't beat the price, he seems like a very fun Woody doll that you can throw and play around with, I can never do that with my Toy story collection Woody, but that's cool that you're going to purchase yours I promise you won't regret it, he is a good purchase
