Thanks for this. Regarding the QR code itself. What information does this contain? How does the phone app determine if it's a valid QR code for that device etc.?

Sorry but I don't understand... When building a device into a Matter device, does the sample code includes the part the ESP32 chips support Matter? And how does a Matter device know what it can do? As your video shows that ESP32 selects the device type as Samsung light bulb, how does Matter trigger the work for light on/off on ESP32? Sorry my words are a bit of a mess

The matter device built with ESP32 is a sample app which simulates lights turning on/off with LED (with different color representing off/on state), it's not actually connecting to a light bulb.
