Congratulations on a successful climb and thank you for sharing your video. What time of year did you climb it, what time of year do you think is best for this route?
@TravelingTunas2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, @Brian Larson. We did the climb in the end of July. Generally from late June to early September there are the best conditions for climbing this route.

Great video, was there any exposed snow/ice parts as well as during which season you had climbed?
@TravelingTunas3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Miglen. We climbed it during summer. There were few small snow fields at the begining which were not very exposed. The final short ridge between IT and CH summit was covered with snow and very exposed. Besides that the rock was dry.

@@TravelingTunas thank you. Which month if I may ask?

@@TravelingTunas also on your video you made it look easy peasy, how difficult would you rate it? Do you believe it is more difficult than the Swiss side?
@TravelingTunas3 жыл бұрын
@Miglen, it was in July. Grade is III UIAA using fixed ropes. We can't say how the Hornli route from the Swiss side looks. Generally the lion ridge is shorter, less frequented but more physical.
