oh wow, what a small world. I was honestly shocked to see that many climbers at the top. but then again it was a long weekend and absolutely fantastic weather so maybe not so surprising. anyways, nice to meet you.

This was classy for FPV. Usually I’m about to throw up midway from all the flips and spins. Nicely controlled. Can’t believe the range and perspective. Amazing.

Is illegal in switzerland and other european countries you habe to see your drone by eyes if you use a glass someone else has to be next to you and see it by eyes otherwise you get some serious problems because its dangerous if a helicopter is coming behind you you wont see it and a crash will be expensive up to have fun in the prison.

@@kral5932 So i guess you dont have an idea about the alps or you didnt watch the movie....actualy doesnt matter you habe to fly in visual sight with you eyes. And in the alps are a lot of helicopters around specialy REGA picking up people which are not anymore able to come down due to accidents.

Did a roadtrip to see the Matterhorn just before lockdown to tick this off my bucket list. Costs a fortune to go up to Gornergrat on the train but dear god the sight of this mountain from the top is worth it. Do It Go !!!!

How to say it shortly, i was in Bueil Cervinia at Mid august, and for one week there i was always obsessed to touch this summit with my quads, which i didnt bring. I promised myself to come back with an adapted setup and meet this mythic Mount Cervinia. This video only urges gives me more reasons to do it !!!! :)

Only 2k subs? Now I feel guilty for having 25k. Your work is absolutely surreal! Beautiful footage. I'd like to ask the same question I think most of your viewers have on their mind. How much does an entire set up like this cost (just an approximate range). I fly a toy compared to this (Mavic Air). I realize this is a completely different game (camera itself, drone, etc). But, just so I have an idea of to aspire to - what does an entire setup like this cost (approx)? Thank you gain for putting this together and sharing it. Absolutely surreal... really.

$700 googles (if you include the necessary transmitter module and antennas), $400-800 quadcopter (depending on how crazy you get with the parts selection), $60-100 per battery (11min flight time if you cruise slowly), $40-200 for the charger for these types of batteries, $200 radio transmitter, $150 additional for the Crossfire long range radio system add-on module, $350 GoPro. To see some examples of these types of quads fully built and the components that people chose, go to the rotorbuilds website and search for 'long range' and look for 6 inch, 7 inch, or sometimes 10 inch builds with names like 'super g plus' or 'hildagard 395' or 'raggio'

thanks for the nice comments. in regards to the cost of this setup, well "Mr B" already answered that question quite accurately , the problem is the initial cost because you need to buy goggles (most expensive part), radio, batteries, chargers, gopro (maybe you already have one), the FPV drone itself you can do quite comfortably around $400, budget one $200 or high spec $600-800. here is the exact list of components of the FPV drone in this video : rotorbuilds.com/build/20153

Very cool. iconic mountain. Im not a mountain climber but I have a friend who's summit-ed all the highest peaks on each continent. Including 4 attempts at Everest with the last one being semi successful. I've seen helmet footage of a decent from the Matterhorn and it's absolutely incredible. How people get up and down that thing in a day is crazy.
