I definitely know how to scan. Been doing this 3 years now with my Pro 2 and Pro 3. My question is how do I get work from the insurance companies?

Hi there, Would you please tell me...when there's a room in the house that you were asked to do not scan, what should I do? Jusust leave the door closed? And what if there's a room that you won't scan, but it doesn't have a door for example? Thank you!

Hi. This is a great question. Yes, if there is a door, the easiest thing to do is just close it and scan everything else as you would. If there is no door, it slightly depends on the client and whether they don't want to even have visibility into the room. Meaning, if there's a privacy concern and there's no door, I would position the camera outside the room, but not in line with the doorway so the camera can't see into the room. If seeing into the room isn't a concern, you can just scan as you normally would without scanning into the room. Finally, if you want to keep the model clean, you can place a trim or window marking at the doorway to the room so the 3D data the camera did capture into the room gets ignored.
