Good advice! The last time I was at La Cala I did put a ball into the hotel up on the right!

As a decade plus slicer off the tee I kinda/sorta figured this out last season and it completely changed my game. Many strokes saved off the tee. I do have a bad habit of still focusing on impact so that follow-thru suggestion I will take with me. I’d love to draw the ball! Cheers Matt!

Thanks Matt! So nice to see a quick and simple drill that doesn't require anything other than 2 alignment sticks

It was closing the shoulders that made a huge difference to me. Still can’t draw it but have a very consistent baby fade with driver that I can play with

Thanks Matt. Played today and tried it. Hitting every drive straight as a die and 30-40 yards longer. Same with irons, 1-2 clubs longer. Problem then was, I was over hitting the greens. Will need to recheck my yardages. 🤬🤣🤣

Improvement takes practice, time and grit. We all have to put the hours in. Better than buying new solution in my opinion. Been working on my fade, sometimes slice. Will use this drill to perhaps nail in long run. Cheers Matt

I struggled with a slice for a long time.. watched a lot of helpful videos but could never get rid of it even still.. I went for a lesson and it turns out in my case it was my left wrist at the top was bent to open the clubface, and there was no way it would not be open at impact after that.. but by keeping it straight or slightly bowed I now am able to take the dreaded slice out of my swing... probably most people who slice do what your video is fixing.. but there are other things that can still cause it.

Yep, each swing is individual and you did the right thing going for a lesson. Keep.up.the good work

Hey Matt, great video. I've been working on fixing a slice and I'm finally able to swing from the inside consistently, but now I'm stuck like you mentioned in the video with the club face closed off at impact and frequently miss left. Any tips to help get that club face more open?

Hi Matt! I was wandering what your take on making the driver an easier swing from the mechanics of the iron swing are? Your boy Andy Carter follows Pete Cowen, with his own spin on how to perform that technique for irons, but that technique of holding the right arm up palm flat like delivering a pizza before drilling the palm down towards the ground to attack the ball with the iron doesn’t really translate into a driver swing the doesn’t rely on hitting down on the ball. Wandering what you have to offer for swing alignment drills and practice points for where to release the club for optimal power. You’ve managed to gain efficiency and speed and better overall driver game than your compadres in my option. Curious if you would make some videos coving these items and do you do Skillest. Thanks my friend. Have a pleasant day and cheers to playing golf rain, sleet, snow, or any other hell scape this season can throw at us. Cheers mate.
