How The World Turned On Marcus Rashford.

To be fair, most United fans began turning on him during the season under Ragnick where he didn’t seem bothered on the pitch (no tracking back, bad body language, etc). That same summer, it seemed like he was going to go to PSG but then of course he didn’t and had a great 22/23 season. Fans began turning on him again in the 23/24 season because he showed such a high level and AGAIN he wasn’t putting a shift in (not even about scoring goals, just simply because he wasn’t pressing, no tracking back again, etc). Even when he would score in the 23/24 season he looked unhappy which was obvious as he had issues off the pitch. Regardless, I wish him well on and especially off the pitch this season as mental health is extremely important in general but also in football. People don’t realise if you’re not doing well mentally and have off the field problems of course you won’t perform well on it. Wish MR10 his best season yet hopefully🤞🏼

The sad thing is hes one of the players that I think of a player I think of the club eg Terry at chelsea, maldini at milan or totti at roma. Players like him or even Bruno are Manchester united for a lack of better words. The thing is he isnt that young star boy anymore, where yes where bruno may not score or assist every match he can still have a good game but with rashford I dont get that same feeling. So with the glimpse we say of him under ole for a while and recently eth first season its frustrating to see him not hitting his stride fully and consustently. He's not a disappointment, he's just a by product of a poorly run football club. This is possibly the longest time he's spent with one manager in football or second longest after OGS. The 2 seasons where Rashford performed badly, the whole team performed badly (21/22 where we finished 6th and 23/24 where we finished 8th). I still believe in Rashford and I know (we all know) there's a great player in there, when everything clicks at the club (the manager's tactics start to bring result), Rashford will be at the forefront of it.

The media turned on him after he missed his penalty vs Italy and The United Stand are known for pushing an agenda against him, and are arguably the biggest reason why so many United fans turned on him. This all started because Marcus told Mark to stop spreading rumours about him leaving. Mark Goldbridge has since abused and berated Marcus in games where he’s barely played, sometimes not even played at all. Mark has a big influence over the casual fans and they blindly agree and copy every word he says, he is a cancer to the fanbase. Marcus will come good again and shut the haters up for good. As I stated in my comment Rashford has played in the worst United teams in Premier League history, often having to create goals for himself out of nothing. Second of all if you’re comparing Haaland, a striker, to Rashford, a winger, you need to stop playing Fifa and watch football properly. That’s like comparing Cavani to Ribery.
