Matt Graham, you're an unbelievable inspiration to me. Your work with joe on dual survival is how i learned about you. You were by far my favorite host on the show with many skills that transcended television. Thank you first and foremost for the introspective look into your lifestyle. i walk to work every day. 50 miles a week. Sometimes i take the long way around, and now, i realize why. You're a stud, no doubt. I encourage you and Sarah to make more of these. This is simply amazing. Thank you.

Matt, Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Ive been running marathons for the past 6 years, completed an Ironman last year and began to dislike running. Your videos inspired me to get off the road a few times a week and I've begun to enjoy running again. Especially single track trails. Thanks again, take care of your self and I look forward to the next round.

Sad to hear that you have to leave the trail Matt but as you know your body is telling you what it needs and you are wise enough to listen to it. Can't wait for future videos and updates. I have learned so much from you already. Get well soon!

Thanks Matt!! I found you on the naked and alone show. I live in troutdale, near portland. It was really neat to see you in the area that I want to hike more in. Im a winter mountaineer, and in a 10+ year hiatus apparently. I want to head afield, towards hood, all weather, cant wait, so thanks alot!! I was just crossing that bridge a few weeks ago. I like to take my girls over there to the WA side, to explore, and watch the salmon run through the ladders, etc.. But on this side, yeah, check out the Guy Talbot area, there along the 30 below corbett, its very temperate rain forest there. Originally from Southern California, its too wet up here, i find myself want to get back to overlandnig adventures in eastern oregon so i can have those vistas back along the journeys. Thanks again!!!

Sound wisdom, waiting to finish. I'm 50, and I still do the things I did when I was young (a lot of times even more than when i was young), but you have to play it smart and get your rest and nutrition. I am very grateful that you took us as far as you did. - Blessings to both of you. - Mike in Coronado

How to get wet with condensation, use the helium bivy. A plastic bag is more efficient, lighter, and hundred bucks cheaper. I used it four times in different conditions, four times I got wet. It was fine with my former gore-tex bivy bag that I used for years. The helium specs are false, they developed their own membrane and it's really worse than gore-tex. It doesn't worth it. Btter to use a mosqito head net with a tarp. That's my experience.

I have never understood why you would want to go hiking / climbing / running for multiple days no shower stinking and say this was awesome. I guess it takes a special person. I need hygiene
@willek13353 жыл бұрын
I used to fear the stink, but there's another way to look at it. If you're all perfumed up, the bugs are more likely to get attracted to you. Secondly, if you choose the right inner-fabric, such as whool, it won't stink for more than a week. Lastly, you can wash yourself and your clothes in rivers. Combine this with a deodorant if you're about to take a buss home, and you're good to go. 👍 You'll be fine.
