Matthew 18 | Jesus Teaches that We Must Become as Little Children | The Bible

Christ teaches that those who humble themselves as little children are the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:1-11
1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
9 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.
10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11 For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.

a strange tought popped in my mind, I never heard it in any predication, maybe I m wrong in the whole Bible and in the whole world, Jesus is the one who gave the best lesson on how to treat children he didn t laugh at the little boy who gave him his tiny 5 breads and 2 fishes parents please take the time to look at their drawings, read their poems, don t throw them in the chimney, put in on the fridge or on a wall, encourage their small accomplishments, it might turn into something big let them be generous and share the little they have, it comes from their heart, don t tell them it won t make a difference, remember Jesus and that boy I LOVE JESUS MY BEST FRIEND MY LORD AND SAVIOUR

That is not true. Children can be, and WILL be cruel to others. I have experience with dealing with other children who were very troubled and I can clearly state that “Children are innocent” is CLEARLY false.

you missed the point, a child doesn't need protection because he is innocent. He can be harmed with endless things yet his soul will forever belong to the kingdom of heaven. Note that he says "we must be LIKE children" not "we must be children"

These past few days i was feeling very ill in my stomach. It was very odd and it was something that i never felt like this before. And i couldn't sleep properly, until i watch and heard Jesus words it made me feel relax and hope. And now i feel strong because jesus heal me. TBH it didn't took medicine or nothing it was just a miracle. And i know that jesus saved me. Because i couldn't stop crying because i thought i had a tumor, stomach virus or something that could have been deadly. And i prayed to Jesus by helping me and give me the strength so i could defeat it and show everyone that nothing can't stop me from living

I have a very hard time forgiving others but I'm trying like I haven't done in a while for Jesus. I know that if Jesus can forgive the whole world on the cross being touched with nails in both his feet and hands and have a crown of thorns on his head and say 'father forgive them,for they know not what they do' that gives me strength to continue becoming a child of God. I watched somewhere that the crucifixion can kill a person in about 10 days, instantly if their legs are broken which causes them to die from suffocating. But Jesus legs weren’t broken (scriptures confirmed this). The video then said that He died from a broken heart (many people that sin against the Father, his deciples left Him, Peter denying Him) that starts from when he sweats blood in Gethsemane. It honestly made me cry to know that I also break His heart everyday, yet He’s still quick to forgive. I love Him so much.

Yesterday, I confess to My Lord about the sins I have committed and how deeply sorry I am. Last couple of days I made an extraordinary decision by forgiving those I caused pain and those who caused me pain. I just hope that Jesus can forgive me that way these horrible thoughts that is tormenting me can put to an end because I don't want anything horrible happening me, especially my own life and the life of my family. I really love this video. I love this parable. I'm understanding more of the way he teaches. Even though he spoke in that day to what people understood and comprehend. He likes for us to think and figure it out. He speaks in riddles for us to learn. I understand if hand offend cut if off part of parable more. Hes saying don't like it change it. Repent. It's better to entered mauled. I understood as don't like it fix it before you get her. You might not be perfect but you can change what hurts you. Repent and enter in. I understand even more.
