Quick story; when I was a teenager, we as a family went on a little vacation. We all went on a tour bus, and the guy of course is telling about the historical site, etc, of the area. At the end, the guy (whose politeness was stretched so thin, you could feel him seething underneath) asked for our "Compliments" as we exited. Me being a dumb kid thought, "At least I can give the guy a compliment; he seems to be having such a bad day."😂😂😂 He didn't yell at me, but I could tell, he didn't appreciate it! Being a teen, I could have looked 20ish, so he probably thought I was an adult who could surely fork over a buck... Took a bit, then I've been embarrassed ever since. Oh well! Learned an early lesson- things don't cost what it says they cost😁
