This is a powerful sermon. Really reminds me of Jonah too. When he disobeyed Gods instructions and then complied but complained when the people of the city repented. We have to remember and rejoice for the Kingdom no matter what! Victory ✌🏽 through grace ❤🎉 God Bless you family. All the way from 🦬 NY 🙏🏽

Praise God for the parable. With all humbleness i understand Salvation is a Gift. No add-on for early salvation and no subtraction for late salvation. The reward is for our service and labour for the Lord after our Salvation. Forgive me if I'm wrong. ❤

God is just and merciful and despite my mistakes and sins I am confident he will give me the strength and favor to make up for every wrong and injustice that has come my way and I where I am being put last, being sure he will place others as well first in the areas one has been put last, glory to God, binding myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ to accept the grace God has for one, binding myself not to be unequally yoked with and have any common share with those who do not accept God his grace for one, in accordance with this word and matthew 20:1-16, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

I think gift and reward should not be confused as to their meaning although they are synonyms. Salvation is a gift and should not be interpreted as a reward. A person who GENUINELY serve God from 6 to 86 will certainly not receive a reward similar to a bum who got saved at 86. Yes they are both saved but the reward for each I think would be different.
@roneckler99372 жыл бұрын
@@elmerbote7756 read Roman 8:17. Would it be fair for us to be co-heirs with Christ when He did not sin? God washes our sins away when we come to Christ for our salvation. Hebrews 10: 10-12, Isaiah 53:5, John 3:16. God is not partial towards one another. He does not think like we think. Listen to this sermon again and listen to Pastor Gary. Jesus tells you it doesn't matter ( in the parrible) when you come to Christ in your lifetime. We all receive the same reward!

Matthew 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good? Matthew 20:15. The corn. Is it not lawful ( concerning the structure of God ) for me ( God ) to do what I ( the Alpha and the Omega ) will with mine own? ( the first and the last ) Is thine ( foolish virgin ) eye ( the first ) evil, ( full of dark matter and dark energy, in the first within the end of the Omega ) because I ( the last ) am good? ( full of light. )

I understand that the gift of salvation and the reward of life in heaven with God is the same for all believers regardless of the time they were saved. But I remember in one of Pastor Gary's sermon that in the day of judgment, non-believers will be judged for their sins and punished, whereas believers will be judged on their works and be rewarded. In this sense, the rewards for each person's works will be different. Isn't this correct?
@miamimike19712 жыл бұрын
Believers are judged for their works during Jacob's trouble ( 7 year tribulation) and rewarded at the Bema Seat Judgment. This is an awards ceremony that takes place in heaven while the 7 year tribulation is happening on earth. But this scripture refers to your eternal life by believing in and having faith in the Lord. It is separate from the rewards from your works. This study pertains to the eternal reward / gift ( salvation ) of having eternal life and being with our Lord. God bless.

They aren’t inter changeable … kingdom of heaven is an actual kingdom and king of God … is a spiritual kingdom within … the rich person can’t access the kingdom of God bcuz internally he is corrupt and obsessed with money therefore not being able to experience the full joy and love … kingdom of heaven was suppose to come to the earth but since Christ was rejected … the Church takes over til Christ comes back

Grace is not irresistible.
@laurynn_nyi2 ай бұрын
Not irresistible?
@lindajohnson42042 ай бұрын
@@laurynn_nyi No, it isn't irresistible. That is why God holds people accountable for resisting His grace. Stephen to the Pharisees, just before he was stoned to death: "you do always resist the Holy Spirit". One of them was Saul of Tarsus, who held the coats of those who killed Stephen. It says that Saul consented to his death. On the road to Damascus: Jesus said: Acts 9 :4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? 9:5¶And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks. This implies that Saul was resisting the grace of God. He is "kicking against the pricks," sharp sticks, but it hurts him. Probably, no one but God would have known that his resistance hurt him. In the Bible, people are routinely held accountable for resisting the grace of God. God wants to give them grace, but they refuse it. Matthew 23:37 KJV - O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! "... would I = (I would) "and ye would not" "I would" ..."ye would not"
