I just that now and I repent Lord Jesus! Someone is trying to bring me back to where I came from (Hinduism) now baptized and a Christian and I started telling them about Jesus and they don’t want to listen but argue and I opened my Bible today and read this verse. Making videos about spreading the Gospel helps more than arguing with people who don’t want to understand of hear the word. Thank you Jesus for the confirmation 🙏

Churches that teach the truth are hard to find so many are dead of false teachers. It seems church is returning to its origin at home. Start a home group and pray for the Lord to bring you those that are seeking Him. Many churches have started that way and really churches will be going underground soon as we see in California even. Praying you find other believers.

I appreciate the contextual approach of Benson's Commentary: Even when the beam is cast out of thine own eye [7:3-5]. Give not that which is holy unto dogs - That is, talk not of the deep things of God to those whom you know to be wallowing in sin; neither declare the great things God hath done for your soul, to the profane, furious, persecuting wretches. Talk not of high degrees of holiness, for instance, to the former; nor of your own experience to the latter. But our Lord does in no wise forbid us to reprove, as occasion is, both the one and the other. There is a transposition in the latter clauses of this verse, where, of the two things proposed, the latter is first treated of. The sense is, Give not - to dogs - lest, turning, they rend you. Cast not - to swine, lest they trample them under their feet.

Every once in awhile I am confronted by a nonbeliever who wants to argue about how so many Christians are self-righteous, judgmental, and hypocritical. Usually online. I tell them to ask Jesus into their hearts, learn his Word through studying scripture in the Bible, and show us Christians how to be better.

Awesome exhortation. As a new disciple of Christ, I realized I’m at times over zealous. You want to tell everyone about Jesu and share your testimony, however as you stated, each person, audience and situation has to be done according to that situation. Key point is to know your audience and always seek the Holy Spirit to intercede for you. I’ve been meditating on the meaning of Matthew 7:6 in it’s true meaning. Sometimes we can waste time and it falls on deaf ears. I realize that I can plant a seed but it’s God and Yeshua that makes it grow.

This was a great sermon. I've been struggling with this Pearls Before Swine situation for a while. I wish someone would do a Romans 13 "Obey your authorities" sermon as well. The Lord places those in authority over us but Moses mother clearly went against the authorities orders to give over her son for example. Then there's the "Sell your cloak and a by a sword" but two is enough and then the rebuke when the Roman soldier lost his ear. These contradictions frustrate me to no end.

I share this when I can, and I hope I haven't overshared at this point, but this is amazing (and obviously the right audience): One day, I was wondering how a pearl was made. I legit didn't know (and once this got going, I knew it was a prompting from God). So, I google it. An oyster creates a pearl out of discomfort. Since it has no means which by itself to remove grit, it covers said grit with layers of calcium. Learning this, I immediately thought, "What? Gross, in terms of a pearl being the 12 gates of Heaven! Why would God do that?!" Which is when He answered and explained it to me: "The grit is sin. The pearl is the Blood of Jesus. Jesus... Is the door."! And, more recently, it occured to me that there are rare pearls, that are called black pearls, but they are different colors. They naturally are colored, effected by the color of their shells, but most of these are dyed somehow (I forget; it was a bit complicated). I think God was showing me there that we on earth can forgive each other, but only thru Christ are our sins actually washed away. It is in the power of the Blood of His sacrifice that we are considered pure. We all have sinned, and continue on some level, to our chagrin. But we lay it at the Cross, and are made as white as snow when God forgives us. And the fact that the colorful pearls are rare goes to show it is very difficult to forgive without the power of Christ. That's all I got! You know what I'll be thinking when I encounter those gates!

I knew it, that's what this verse means, I set on the fence for a long while if it really was saying what I thought it said. Because of the verse saying he does not wish anyone to parish and the gospel must be preached to the whole world. Now I'm 💯 confident it means what I think it does.

I was thinking, I wonder does this mean that some people God has to deal with His self. There are some so far out there that I'm afraid to minister to because they're so deep into satanism or so deep in evil that I'm afraid their demons will come after me. It's happened to me. So those I just pray for. Wasn't sure if that's the right thing or not. I was about to speak this a man this morning who I can see is satanic but I stopped and just prayed for him.

This is in the next lesson, in case anyone else got confused (like me, lol). Basically, it's saying that all of us, being fallen creatures, are basically evil, yet we are still able to love & care for our children in this state. So how much more will God love us? That's what it's saying.

Some Don't they don't care they are not ashamed to be demonic. They don't want to hear God's word. They know what they do is bad but don't care. Mathew 22: 14-16 KJV

The pastor's point is well taken, that teaching those who are not interested is counterproductive. However, this conclusion may not be the entire story. Someone may not be appear interested but still the Word of God will have an effect. It is not uncommon to find people who were initially not interested but actually, the word did not leave then and they later responded to what had already been sown in their hearts. It's hard to know which seeds will germinate. In the process of pregnancy, 100 million sperms are released and one will succeed to fertilize the egg. Life is actually more of a chance than deliberate acts. You never choose your parents. You never choose the country you are born into. You never choose the various encounters in life that eventually become turning points in life. Therefore, we can't make a definite law that we should not teach someone who is not interested. Perhaps a better way may be to say that we should not impose our views on others. Insisting on teaching someone who is resistant may be the wrong way. Whatever creates conflict is a wrong medicine. So, one has to see at what point to back down. Most of life is trial and error. What I am saying may be wrong.
