Some great moments in here. The last question makes me wish we would get to see Alec call Magnus 'baby' again at some point in the future haha. Also even though Isaiah wasn't really asked anything here (sadly) I really liked how he showed interest about the 'queer' term and he genuinely wanted to know more about it. Love that man!

Jacky J i saw Matt in the shadowhunters convention in Milan and asked him almost the same question and his answer was pretty much the same. Except we got to see him actully re-enact the scene kneeling on the floor and going all "hey baby are you ok" and pretending to pat magnus on the head and back. That was hilarious .

The question about Alec's behaviour when Magnus was switched with Valentine is a writing failure and the writers did a terrible job on the follow-up. If you look back at the scene where Valentine(Magnus) was telling him about their intimate stuff it was very clear that Alec felt it was Magnus..and I say this based on his reaction to the words. So my main issue with this show is the massive plot holes...it's maddening, I hope that the season 3 writers will do better.

I totally agree. It was one of the biggest writing fails on this show. Even if Alec didn't know it was Magnus he would never participate so willignly without even questioning (!) in an ILLEGAL execution. Alec is a man of rules and law... it was totally out of character. I was so mad with how the writers handled this, even Matthew thought it was totally out of character for Alec. And then when Magnus comes back to his body this issue is never properly mentioned again like the writers have totally forgotten that Magnus was almost killed because Alec was blindly following the orders of the Inquisitor. Yes, they used this to introduce Magnus' childhood trauma, which I loved those scenes in episode 2x15... but they never mentioned the execution again. We just see that Alec seems to feel very guilty in the 2 second scene when they're alone after Magnus getting back to his body and that's it. If the writers want to introduce dramatic stuff for the sake of the plot, at least follow it up and don't forget it when it has already served the writing plot, and at least do it in a way that is coherent with the characters you developed through out the show.

7Mushrooms7 TBH I don't think there will be anymore follow-up on this (but I could be wrong), it might be a cloud hanging over their relationship that the writers can revisit but I think they are moving forward. One of the things I liked about the last scene they had together in the finale was the dilemma we see from Magnus's POV. (A lot of people might miss what really happened in that scene since they are just happy about Malec getting back together) but, If you look closely you will see the look he gives Alec after the "I don't think I can live without you" declaration. There's a reason why they keep letting Alec make the "bold" moves when it comes to Magnus since season 1 (Magnus outrightly wanted him from the beginning but they always let Alec be the one to move the line) Remember when Alec asked Magnus "tell me what I can do to fix this" in 2x12. I don't want to point out the foreshadowing that's happening here too much because it spoils for others. At the end of the day, Alec seems to be the one aspect of Magnus's life that will bring him more heartache but there's very little he can do about it. I don't see how they can write it any other way but I look forward to seeing where the writers are willing to go.
