These young men are not only super talented it is such a pleasure to see them defending their dad. I have always been ashamed of the way people treated their talented father. He was great

Lovely! My understanding is that Rick enjoyed a big success with Garden Party and that it gave him great satisfaction. I hope he’s dancing on the Milky Way in his next iteration of being. ❤ I heard this song playing over the speakers in my local grocery store this morning in rural MN, then came home and listened to it again. I wound up looking up the lyrics and the story behind them and going down a delightful rabbit hole! I always loved this song when I was a kid and now I have an even greater appreciation for it! What a legacy Rick Nelson left behind in his music, his art and in his children! 😃

I think they are great now, and they were great Dan. I bought their CD even though it’s scratched now, so it’s hard to play but I love them and I love their dad. I don’t understand why anybody would not like them. That’s just me. God bless them.

A great remembering of their father & just as talented. The song was a great way for Ricky to let them know he was still a force & didn't need to be a teen idol anymore but a musician. Great talent passed down. It was great to hear it almost as tho their father was singing it. Nice nice job Nelson Brothers. Your father would be proud.

Ok, so it was 1971 and they wanted Ricky Nelson to sing his "OLDIES" hits like Hello Mary Lou (1961) that was only 10 years old. Songs from 10 years ago are considered oldies ? Like asking Taylor Swift to sing 'Shake it Off' from 2014 would be considered old ?
