Psalms 35.13 But as for me when they were sick my clothing was sackcloth I humbled my soul to fasting and my prayer returned into mine own bosom. Isaiah 22.12 And in that day did the Lord God of hosts called to weeping and to mourning and to baldness and to griding with sackcloth. Natural fasting has nothing to do with spiritual fasting. You are still a sick man. Natural fasting is good for cleaning out your natural body skipping a few meals.

Point of correction...there are people whose genetics uphold overweight, even when they fast. Am sure Pastor Hagee fasts as he is a man of his word. I know many people who hold long fasts but are still heavy...respectfully speaking.
