"Truth is treason in an empire of lies." I'm thankful for geopolitical analysts with integrity such as Matt and Nima.

True - and now they want a war with China, their biggest creditor and lender ??? Don't these warmongering neocon losers seem to forget that WARS no longer works anymore, since the ones being attacked by the USA, UK, EU, NATO and their collective western vassals, are now armed to the teeth, and now have the ability to FIGHT BACK against them now.
@MoSec919 күн бұрын
Well sure the empire lies but geopolitical analysts also lie and have their own biases. I’ve been enjoying these interviews for a while now but unfortunately after the fall of Assad I’m seeing a lot of repetition of false claims and news, intentionally or not. There’s no slaughtering of minorities. I’m sure there are incidents here and there but there’s a lot of meddling from countries like UAE and Iran trying to cause civil war between the different groups. Khamanai is telling Syrians that they do want have anything to lose now and that they must fight!? What kind of shit is that. I’ve been on Iran’s side this whole time and tried to ignore their massacres in Syria few years ago, but this has exposed many people. If you’re not with the Syrian people, the vast majority that was suppressed and killed in the worst way over decades then you have no fkn right to pretend defending minorities. I am for freedom and fairness not for bullshit ideologies.

Like I said in a couple of posts, Syria is already the past. The next story is the fissures the dirty West can exploit for a "colour" revolution in Iran, and how Iran can counter, as well as counter the sanctions. But no alternative media sites are talking about those key "next moves". They all have a reactive rather than forward -looking mindset Make that change, Mr Alkorshid, please.

The US should care about its own neighbors. Türkiye has suffered for more than half a century by attacks of the PKK (Armenian ASALA before) and its USD/European backed derivates. In fact Türkiye is the successor of the Ottoman empire that has lost big chunks of its territory to these forces after WWI. No one can really say the destruction of the Ottomans by the British was for the good of the people in the region. The US/EU have intervened, overthrow governments, caused instability and killed millions of people (preferably Muslims) directly or indirectly by that means. For the good of the indigenous people of the region? No. Their intention was and is their own wealth and that of their ally Israel. Israel was also established by these western forces. Now we are witnessing the total annihilation of Palestine and another genocide by the West and its ally Israel. Btw. the parts in Syria invaded by the US and its terrorist Kurdish allies are regions that were populated by Arabs, Turkmen, Kurd and other minorities for centuries. There never was a pure Kurdish region. And there will hopefully not an additional one here. There is already a Kurdish authority in Irak. We do not need an additional vassal destabilizing a region like Israel did for now a century. These former Ottoman lands will come to rest and peace, when the West and surely Russia and Iran take their bloody hands from here. Only than. But for now, the region unfortunately has to deal with these foreign influences.

I Have many problems with the Greens also Matthew. All I can say about that issue is, the only way they can gain more support is by making the party much more aligned with the people they claim to want to represent and two, they must change their name to something more palpable to the working people. It feels to me that ego is the major problem of the Greens and there is nothing new about that. Maybe a name change that includes everyone is in order but I'm not a PR guy or want to be a PR guy. I'm fine with Party Number one.

When analyzing Syria's new reality, many regional and global powers come to mind-such as the U.S., Russia, Iran, Israel, and Türkiye. However, the aspirations and determination of the Syrian people must take precedence as the key factor that all these powers need to account for and respect. The Syrian revolution, led by the country's Sunni majority alongside participants from various minorities, reflects a collective desire to shape the nation's future in alignment with their aspirations. Syrians aim to address the complex realities they face-military, political, economic, and social-on both local and international levels. This is a daunting task that calls for genuine assistance from others, not interference or the imposition of additional obstacles that undermine their peaceful transformation.

Syrian revolution? What revolution?
@saoulidany456820 күн бұрын
Keep dreaming the goal of the "revolution" was to destroy the country....and divide it into little fiefdom's, Syrians had a country,some of them décided to get arms from all the former colonial powers to turn it into the Congo.....i.feel for all the soldiers who fought like lions.....but Syria is going to become an islamist congo unless there is a miracle.....and it will not Come from the rebels friends (again all the former colonial powers who raped Syria for decades and centuries)....soon most Syrians will regret Assad.....like the libyans and Iraqis regret their national leaders to this day except the ones who profit from the chaos......
