The problem Matthew has is that converts to Islam often turn out to be the most extreme. In England the amount of men who converted in prisons and came out either attempting or succeeding in carrying out attacks is terrifying. Look at Richard Reid (the shoe bomber) or more recently Khalid Masood (born Adrian Ajao) on Westminster Bridge. It's not where people are from in the world, it's the religion.

we should defeat the narrative. we should educate against principles in the Koran in the school system. we should address the concept of religion and the origins philosophy and ideology in schools. the problem is Islam gets violent when this occurs and atheists don't want it mentioned. Sonia has a right to be scared as she is a woman and has more to loose under Islam. I don't support a complete ban but I understand why she is troubled by it.
