Maestro Matthew Lazar conducts this performance by the Mantua Singers that took place in New York City on Sunday, November 13, 2002. The Zamir Choral Foundation hosted this performance and a special conference featuring the music of Salomone Rossi.

How did Rossi know how to perfectly match the music to the sentiment of each verse? This rendition, in particular, also does so, admirably. I'm grateful to you for posting.

Magnifique ! Thank you for this wonderful music ! actually singing in Hebrew makes it even more beautiful... what a marvelous sound quality ! Bravi cantatori ! Bravo Maestro !
