Thank you. That was really interesting. I’ve often thought how odd that Elizabeth Woodville didn’t kick up a fuss at the time, and allowed her daughters into Richard’s care. Also I’m trying to recall something about Francis Lovell, when in hiding used some sanctuary in Suffolk or Norfolk, that was know to be a safe place for Yorkists. And I have wondered if the princes were taken there and then sailed to Europe for their own safety, a plan perhaps devised by their mother and Richard. It would explain why Elizabeth and her daughters gave themselves into Richard’s care and enjoyed the entertainments of the court. It also explains why Richard didn’t comment on their disappearance as it would jeopardise their safety. What do you think?

the Harleian manuscript records a trip to Flanders in 1484 for reasons unknown by Jams Tyrell.

Or she believed her sons were dead, and it would be safer for her daughters if she capitulated to the person who held their futures in his hands. Richard would never be safe on his throne while ever his nephews were at large and able to raise a European army to challenge Richard for his throne. As a church court had not annulled Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville’s marriage, a second act of Parliament could declare Edward’s children all legitimate again. Which is exactly what happened when Parliament repealed Richard’s legislation making him king, making Elizabeth of York legitimate again.

The fact that the Spanish court code listed Perkin Warbeck into the category of codes reserved for royalty and the Pope puts the nail in the coffin for me that at least one of Edward IV's children survived into Henry VII's reign.

I've always thought that Perkin Warbeck was Richard, Duke of York.

That only means these people accepted in public he was Richard, Duke of York, not that he actually was.

@@brontewcatbut that doesn't explain "Perkin's" possession of the same birthmarks as the prince or the fact that he had the drooping eyelid recessive in the Plantagenet line and shared by Henry III and Edward I. .

@@deborahjesser2028 Given at least half the nobility of England was descended from those kings, a throwback from the wrong side of the blanket from many English nobles would explain the genetics, Where is the source he had the Prince of Wales’ birthmarks. More importantly who would know of those birthmarks? Unless he had some prominent birthmarks (not seen any accounts of this), other than his intimate servants and nursemaids, and perhaps his parents, who would know what birth marks he had?

It’s believed Lambert came from Saint Lambert (ca. 635-700) in IRELAND but was commonly used as a surname very rarely as a 1st name and strangely enough the name infact means MARTYR which I find rather interesting 🤔

Perhaps Prince Charles will allow the urn to be looked into (if he becomes King), now there is better DNA information

Many years ago, I read about an entry in the account rolls of Margaret of Burgundy of money allocated for the raising of Yorkist heirs. We know what happened to all but two heirs of the house of York.

Something I’ve never pondered over before, is that no other monarch throughout English history had ever faced a pretender with 0 claim or royal blood for the throne and then Henry VII HAS 2 !?!

Well what about William the Conqueror?

William the Conqueror claimed that Edward the Confessor had promised the English throne to him and that Harold had taken an oath on sacred relics to support William’s claim. This story is illustrated in the Bayeux Tapestry.

For decades, in the metaphysical community, Margaret was high on the list of all the Tudor behind the scenes manipulators. Great detective work assembling all these clues and red herrings.

Very good analysis and interesting insight particularly about queen Elizabeth releasing her other children with only a promise and no guarantee. Next, the Spanish and Portuguese governments. Please continue and bring guest speakers to this conversation.

I find it hard to believe Warwick and Warwick ever even met each other. Warwick was held in solitary confinement.

all rubbish about the Princes not being taken out by Richard. People milking this story and trying to make people believe otherwise, that they survived is absolute nonsense.
