Matthew triggers something in my biology... literally makes me melt into his hands. There is nothing like a manly man with a chocolate voice, height for days, expressive beautiful eyes, brilliant mind, sweetest smile, soft manners, and he even WALKS like a Greek god. Dear LORD he is just so unbelievable. He can't be real.

I absolutely hated this book, and hated the movie with Garson and Olivier even more. Then I came upon it on TV last year quite by accident and could not stop watching it, they were both exquisite, Ms. Knightley and Mr. Macfadyen. I went to the library and got the DVD and watched the entire thing...twice! What a pleasure. So much fluff and such little talent nowadays, and they restored my faith.
