I'm happy to be the thirteenth comment. My luck sucks. This is a good song to listen to on the El from 40th Street Frankford then the 59 bus to the 66 to the Mayfair Diner then down to the river. The scenery seems not to be consequential at those times.

This song just came up on a Bruce Hornsby & the Range mix. I was going to write a comment about how I can remember every block I walk past when I hear this song. Then I decided first to read my last comment and realized, nothing changes much. I can still see the red light change to green at each intersection. I can still hear the the El grind on the tracks above me. I can still smell the inside of my favorite diner and see rain drops hit the diner windows. The waitress keeps bring over root beers. Later I'll have some beers. But nowadays, they'll be at home, by myself, listening to sweet, old songs, maybe a Matthew Ryan song, thinking about my friends and my old bar, missing them all.

Just became aware of Matthew Ryan. I recently came across his rendition of "Little Drummer Boy" truly unique it's become one of my favorite versions , style of the song a little Bob Dylan like. I would love to add it to my play list . If someone has it could they please post it, I would really appreciate it allot. I also like the David Bowie/ Bing Crosby and Jars of Clay versions of "Little Drummer Boy" Posted here on You Tube. Thanks in advance.
