My grandmother passed away on my birthday last year. It was after her passing that I realized I missed a lot of her final days because I was working insanely long hours. Thankfully, God provided for me a way out: a new job. Though I have a job that pays much less, I now have time to be with my wife, family and friends. These truly are the things that matter. I can only praise the Lord for such blessings. This song is a perfect reminder for me. Thank you, Matthew West, for knocking it out of the park (like you always do). I am 14, and everywhere I look, I see hate in people's eyes. Everyone in my grade hates me, but I only have one friend. I rarely get to see her, and I will see her less and less, as we are now in different schools, since she is 3.5 years younger than me. I have known her for 6 years, and recently I have gotten feelings for her. When I am with her, I can feel God with us. It feels like time just stops, and all pain and all worries of mine go away. I needed this song so much. i missed so much beautiful moments that i could live and love my life by, but i just miss 'em. I have a lot of problems. I have a hearing problem with my right here which lead to several problems like communication and social problems and all of this lead to me missing the beautiful moments.
