Amazing how well this guy knows how to play material from Trivium. He could easily be in the band.

matt my guy, sorry if this has been asked dozens of times over the years but i couldnt find out anything googling; why do you guys never play the crusade (the song) live? is it because its too long? its my favourite trivium song.

Take note viewers, This is how guitar covers are supposed to be no pre recording, no over polished tweks. Nothing but pure guitar!
@metalpuppet57982 ай бұрын
theres absolutely nothing wrong with having the other instruments for context. It doesnt take away anything. Even playing to the song is ok as long as its not too loud. a guitarless backing track is the ideal thing to me. this lacks a bit of context. Still an insane performance as you would expect.

@@Eirik36 I mean it sounds like ascendancy, but maybe it's due to this being his live stream rig / tone, Sounds really tinny and bad :(

Its most likely his guitar tracking sound for a mix, where the gain is dialed back and some of the low end is cut off. More articulate sound. @TheRemulosEpsolonProgramme

double tracking, EQ, compression, volume balancing and mastering

@@wmxx2000 i know but is there a tutorial + shopping list for that? I dont wanna study Sound engineering. Just need a good recording/mastering sound for my own songs. I have money but im lazy just like famous youtubers :D

@@MetalGuitarTimoThere's no shortcuts, you have to learn how to record and mix if you want to get there, it's not as bad to get started as you might think
@MetalGuitarTimo9 ай бұрын
@@jakubSwaps i tried but cant get the sound any clearer. especially the lows on the 7 string sound very mushy with little attack. i tried it with less distortion, less attack etc. maybe i cant get any further with my hardware and tools (line 6 - ux 2 and cubase) or maybe my pick ups from the guitar are bad. i just have no idea :D everytime i copy a tone from a tutorial it sounds completely different as in the video. anyway thx for your answer
