I’m from Wales. I had the Bullet EP when it first came out, loved it! Hooked on Trivium when I first heard Pull Harder…seen both bands multiple times and now I get to share the crowd with my 16 year old son who absolutely loves them both too. What a moment it’s going to be for these bands and the fans!!

These two guys have inspired so much as a musician. I remember in 2006 or 2007 I heard bfmv Hand of Blood and Trivium The Deceived. I absolutely fell in love with how the music sounded and I thought to myself, I wanna play this stuff. I convinced my parents to buy me a guitar, I sucked for a long time but I kept at it and eventually I had a breakthrough and learned some songs from The Poison and the feeling was so insane. Then I learned some songs off of Ascendancy and my love for music really grew. I eventually learned how to sing, scream and sing/scream while playing guitar. These guys have inspired an entire generation of musicians. I absolutely cannot wait to see you guys on the Poisoned Ascendancy tour

These conversations have been wonderful, and I can’t wait for more. Keep the amazing music coming!

Funnily enough, Bullet is what got me into Metallica. I'd gotten into Bulllet, Disturbed, and Rise Against from Need For Speed, and while I still listen to those other two, metalcore just hit different as a tween. And because I was already into rock music like Linking Park and Three Days Grace, I'd listen to VH1 after dark and Metallica came on and all I could think of was "my favorite band's favorite band, I gotta give em a shot". And from there I basically experienced the entire history of metal from Sabbath to Maiden, Metallica, but metalcore (Trivium included) is still my soul music. From 11 to 15 I'd fully transitioned from rocker to metalhead and it's all thanks to Bullet, quite honestly.

I found Bullet For My Valentine through playing Need For Speed: Most Wanted (05). I found the of the "The Poison" album in high-school in my freshmen year 2006 i listen the the wholr album and I absolutely fell in love with the album and then in my sophomore year 2008 "Scream Aim Fire came out and I listened to the title track and its was so fucking heavy then "Waking The Demon" which was a banger then I listened to Track 03. Hearts Burst Into Fire and I cried my eyes out at 16 years old because for the first time in my life my heart was touched by music that comforted and reassured me and got me through the hardest times as a teenager and also through my adult life.

I just bought an 7 string guitar a few months ago, a Schecter Omen 7. Trivium was the band that introduced me to 7 string guitars, so as Fear Factory and Korn. Besides, Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine are a big influence to our band, so, it's meaningful to watch both of you guys having a great conversation and we're so excited to see you touring around South America. On the other hand, BFMV using 7 strings? What a fucking banger, you guys had been consuming steroids since you recorded the self-title album, now this is a high level up. We need to hear that. Greetings from Venezuela (and excuse my english, I still learning). We send you all the support and good vibes. Keep Rocking.
@RolanTHUNDER3 ай бұрын
Your English is good amigo :) Glad you got into 7 string just recently. I have been playing 7 string for years and love the same bands you do that are known for 7 strings. I love Steve Vai as well. He is the father of the 7 string Universe that gave birth to Korn, Fear Factory and many others
@growofficial25453 ай бұрын
@@RolanTHUNDER I've playing 6 strings all my life (I play guitar since I was 12 years old, now I'm 27). Trying sounds through the years and finding a musical identity, I fell in love with downtunings (under drop C or drop B). In Venezuela (at least in Caracas, where I live and where I come from), is not usual to watch 7 string guitars outside, so, I previously used 6 string with a baritone tuning (drop A). It worked for me, I wrote songs under that tuning, finding the definitive sound. But I didn't give up, I needed a 7 string because of broad range of tones that these weapons can offer. I may use it for playing popular songs of any genere or style in standard tuning, then, if I want to play down tuned metal or I want to extend my chords and make it sound richer, I use the 7th string at my disposal. It worths every cent, I'm so happy for this gift I made to myself hahaha Which guitars do you own, bro?

@@growofficial2545 That's such a nice story to hear. Thanks for sharing bro :) I have owned around 35 or so guitars since 2006 and now I own 8. 1 Acoustic, 7 electrics. 1 Charvel San Dimas Pro Mod, 2 Ibanez JEM's, 3 Ibanez RG's and 1 Ibanez Universe.
