I agree :) Its Matts apparent 'simple' 'whatever' easygoing, but positive nature and his presentation that reflects a good soul, coupled to escapist simplicity - you can see how hard he has to work to make it look easy, then there is the love for his furry pals :) - I really enjoy his escapes and as you say, his persona coupled to the environment just helps you unwind with a smile :) - Thanks Matt, bless you, keep it up and keep safe :)

Hey Matt Good video in a fun winter setting. Nice clip with the tree branches from afar like, 'Sasquatch' looking in.. trying to pickup some tips from you & the boys.. Cool! Stay Safe! Thanks for sharing. P.S. ..Late comments as I am still catching up with all your adventures.. We were doing stuff.. in our full time travels around the North American continent.. over the last 29 years of marriage (living 24/7 is tough!).. I started young (14 y.o.) canoe camping with a homemade wood framed & fiberglassed about 14' and a wide bottom.. a little rocker for this "Cadillac" was tough to maneuver on the Batsto headwaters.. which eventually emptied into the Atlantic.. which was a great "Blue crabbing" area.. comparable to the Chesapeake Bay which is now world famous.. But I ramble.. I would love to trade fireside stories with you and your 'mates' someday.. Unfortunately age had caught up to us (Arthritis mainly) but we love watching you grow as an outdoorsman.. lol just kidding! We have learned a lot from KZbin and Bushcrafting! Thanks, again!! I love the shots looking back into the camp from this

My dog just lost her sister this week and I’m positive that she enjoyed this video more than I did because she got to see your dogs enjoying life together. She watched the entire video. ❤️ RIP Zoey- September 2, 2008 - April 29, 2020.

Ngl, your vids have become my new in-the-background white noise (in the best way!!). Even if I don't have time to sit down and watch the entire 2-3 hour experience, at least I get to fold laundry while listening to your campfire cooking demos and how to prepare a hot tent! Definitely earned a sub

So inspired by your courage, fearlessness, and confidence. What a great metaphor for how to survive life. So impressed that you can find beauty, joy, warmth and sustenance in a frikking cold isolated wilderness. Wow!

I first started watching your videos in about 2019, as someone who has lived in the south most of his life, I don't see much snow. But I imagine camping like this is so relaxing (with the right gear of course lol). The gentle pitter patter of the snow falling around the camera is legit asmr for me. I'm subbed for life!

This kid is the real deal unlike some of these other youtubers "camping in winter storms" doing yoga, drinking their herbal blended teas , going to coffee shops , riding their $800 bikes....this kid just goes out there with a camera, his dog and some gear he can carry in, in some nasty weather and takes us along via youtube
