Great tutorial, when your mounting your gear on a balcony do seek the owners permission for example if your just staying in a great hotel room with a great view. I have used suction pads in the past but shooting through glass isn't great sometimes.

no, at faster shutter speeds you will find an unfixable warping in your images with electronic shutter

@@MatthewVandeputtei think he’s referring to the astronomical tripods, those which can follow the rotation of earth with a small motor so you can take Timelapses of the stars or planets for a whole night without having to touch anything.
