Is there an alternative to Premiere Pro? I might be budget conscious to do this.

Hi Matt, I'm watching from South Africa and always learning from you. Thanks for sharing. You're a great inspiration! Currently working on a project and want to do something similar.

What I found annoying was PP's insistence for the purposes of this workflow to have directly sequential numbering. I can do this in Blender with the natural filenames created by my camera. No need to rename.

I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO GET MY V3 TO HONOR MY REQUEST FOR A TIMELAPSE. I detest this camera, the app, the lack of an owners manual (even online), but most of all the fact that it simply does not work. No matter what settings I choose, including timelapse and events, it records the same full 20fps 1 minute (you didn't misread that) videos. Its only format option is the ancient Fat32, though it will accept exFat if you so format it before plugging it in. I have no clue how you beat it into submission to actually record in timelapse. I tried 3 seconds and 1 minute, both with no result despite confirmation when viewing in real time on my tablet. As you glossed over, the timelapse file, should you succeed in creating one, will not be viewable without further manipulation. I have 3 Wyze cameras and they will probably go under the sledge hammer, as it would be immoral for me to return them and they perhaps end up in another victim's possession. My other two are Pan V2 but they are so noisy and the panning cannot be defeated, that they would draw any burglar straight to them. Rubbish products. I neglected to mention that it is hot as a pistol - 24F above ambient. Probably best to use it in the shade, to avoid the black version and to only deploy it in a cool clime.

Hello I’m traveling from London to Edinburgh via train and really want to catch before sunrise till arrival at 0730… will it be possible or will the train moving make it super blurry?! Also loved the video very helpful, thank you!

Welcome back mate, congrats on the weddings! This camera looks the goods, although the pro definitely looks better. I'm looking at getting something along these lines for a personal agricultural project :)

shows how to time lapse on most expensive phn that nobody has and which has no bearing at all on how us ordinary punters have to do it... the whole video was just a stupid flex to boast he had a fancy phone.

I think... If it can work out that I am in Australia, it can ask me about cookies and give me prices in Australian currency. I think its website should support HTTPS. There is absolutely no reason not to.

You’ve immediately sold me on this. I do commercial/architectural photography and this would be a great service add. Do you have any recommendations on pricing a long term service like this when pitching to a client?
@MatthewVandeputte3 күн бұрын
It's not my specialty at all but I would recommend figuring out how much time you're spending on it, then figure out an hourly or daily rate you;re happy with it, add costs for materials and then add a percentage on top of all of that depending on the size of the project and client. You'd charge differently for a DIY project at a mom and pop shop versus a hangar build for a big corporation for example!

This was fascinating to me since "night lapse" mode appears to do a perfectly acceptable job even during the day. That means we can do sunrise and sunset timelapses and get the full range. However, something is wrong when using these same settings: I tried 10 second interval, auto shutter, auto white balance and 100/400 iso on my GoPro Hero 10 last night and the stars were not visible even though it was a clear night. The video was dark with not enough light getting to the sensor. Granted, there were some foreground patio string lights affecting the exposure, but they were not that bright - certainly not as bright as those city lights. I'm wondering if I need to increase the interval so that the shutter speed can extend beyond ten seconds? I'll report back.

I understand your points and somewhat agree with you. Just as a data point, one thing I love about shooting GPRs with the Hero 11 is using Lightroom's AI Denoise tool and being able to easily match photos taken with the GoPro to those taken with my Canon camera. Not for everyone, but a great tool to have as it grants you control over most of the image pipeline.

We rotate at 1600 km/hr only if we are at the equator. Our speed due to the Earth's rotation slows as we move toward either pole. At the North or South pole our speed due to Earth's rotation would be 0; we would just spin around once every 24 hours. Of course the Earth is still revolving around the sun, the sun around the Milky Way's centre, and the Milky Way is moving through space but those effects would not be noticeable in a time lapse footage covering just an hour or two.
