I remember seeing Brooke at an absolutely wonderful place I volunteer at called Ronald McDonald Camp. It always pains me to hear when one of our campers passes away, but I take some comfort in thinking that they're up with the many stars in the sky, and it motivates me to keep fighting for and supporting children like her.

Absolutely beautiful, I got the chance to meet brooke 5 years ago when my elementary school threw party for her. She moved out of my neighborhood a couple years ago and has been in my prayers since. It's heartbreaking that she had to leave us so soon, but I'm so glad she is not in pain anymore and is with our lord. My prayers go out to her family.

After my husband passed and then 4 years ago I lost my oldest son to cancer, but I always kept praying but I never blamed God and I was taught not to ??? It was his plan, but it got me back into Gods home. Mathew speaks to people with music and many of them I see myself in them. This is really cool. I don't know if any coverage of Brooke has been going on for a long time or if this video is all we have of her. From my perspective all I can see is all these people gathering in support of this girl. From her family to Matthew West and his band, to all the people watching this video. And for all I know the majority of those people might know almost nothing about this girl, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is that all of us are joined by God so we will come to support and sing the praises of anyone who needs it. Things like these are why I am a Christian.
