always the same on German television. At least on ZDF you needn't bother watching a one-song gig of a band in an entertainment show because it will always be playback. There are some exceptions (e.g. Pink on "Wetten Dass..." a few years ago), but probably only from the biggest stars who have enough clout to insist on doing their own live singing.
