My grandma passed away in November of 2015 and I still miss her to this day I hope I can be reunited with her in heaven someday. She wanted to see me graduate this may but she couldn’t make it but it doesn’t stop me from working hard. I know she has a smile on her face right now because of how much I’ve accomplished as someone who is autistic and having the ability to weld and talk normally and doing other things autistic people don’t do. I miss her so much I wish I could see her again but I’ll see her in heaven

As I write this, mothers day is once again upon us, this will be nine years since she parted ways with this earth, this cold and unwell feeling deep in my soul shakes me even to this day, I just wish I could see her again somehow, there have been so many nights I needed her soft words of wisdom to guide me along this hellish plane of existence we call life, she did so much to try and raise me after father passed in 2005, there are so many words left unsaid that I wish I could say to her even now, many more nights feeling so alone in this cold world, something died in me on may 11th 2015, i went to see her in a rehab where she seemed to be getting better, that was the ninth, two days later i would receive the news while at work that she had passed away in her sleep, the drive back to my hometown long and cold, the person who drove me, my ex watched as my world crumbled to pieces in my eyes, the next week was rather a blur as we planned her funeral and i recall not wanting to sleep at all, even to this day I have much trouble sleeping as the years pass by like a river ever flowing, the ebb of time passing making it harder to recall details of her, i have long since forgotten her voice save for when I hear it in my minds eye, to this dreadful damned day I still yearn to see her again, even for a short while, take these words of someone who is for the most part slipping away, I know not how many breaths i have left in me, but I will tell you this much...death can have me when he so chooses to guide me along on that wayward ferryboat, i'll save a coin for that day.

It reminds me how, in my first day of middle school (6th grade), I felt like an outcast (since no one talked to me, or came up to me and stuff), not only cause it was my first time going to an american school, but because I was the only one who was half american/half Colombian and I was more fluent in spanish more than english, while everyone knew english more than me (I was still 12 at that time), and I was afraid that no one would befriend me and stuff (I tried by acting out, but, in the end, it never worked, cause my acting out was to mask my whole fear in being in a place I dont understand)
