It warms my heart to think that a one-off poem I wrote three years ago has touched so many people. Seriously, thank you so much! FINAL EDIT: I'm an adult now. Just graduated high school recently and I'm on my way to university to study writing further. Something I've taken away from this comment still getting engagement is how much kind words can change you. I don't think this piece is some of my best work (though art is subjective so it's hard to determine a "best"), but it was full of young and raw passion. It connected with you all to the point where even to this day, people will give me the most beautiful and kind words about it. Aphrodite couldn't help but smile, knowing that despite how much Elsa had forgotten about things, she had never forgotten about their lullaby. Somehow she was able to find happiness by the fact that SOME part of her real daughter was still there. "I'll be there when you need me…" They started singing in unison, both finding peace and quiet. Elsa feeling a warm beautiful sensation that she had missed so much. "Little baby…" Aphrodite sang. "Count on me…" Elsa continued with a hesitant smile. "I promise I'll never let you go." I once had this cat.. she was beautiful. Her silver looking fur and blue eyes. I loved her to bits, and to be honest, she loved me back too. She would often come to sit on my lap and fall asleep. Her name was Grace. Her name fitted her so well, because every time she walked or ran, it was so graceful and angel like. Grace loved my family, because when we found her, on the side of the road in my hometown, London, she saw us drive past and, I don't know why, but this cat ran after our car, like she was saying," Wait for me! I belong with you!". But the saddest time of my life was when she passed. We let her out one morning, and I remember, just before midnight, we heard a car screech. My mother went outside to see what was going on, and Grace lay there. But she wasn't yowling in pain or anything like that. My father took her to the vet sometime after. The impact had damaged her body badly, and we realised that she wasn't going to make it. My mother and father knew I was her favourite, so they left me alone to have some time with her before she went. I hugged her body tightly, and she yawned, like she always did when I hugged her. What Grace did after that, and I cross my heart on this, she spoke to me. It was like an angel. The horrible atmosphere of the silent vet room was not so eerie. She said to me," Remember me. As long as you do, I'm forever in your heart, or sleeping on the garden chair outside." I understood, but I wanted to ask her a question. "Grace, why choose my family that misty cold London morning?". She spoke again,"I chose you because I knew you had the brilliant and curious mind. You were a friendly, nice person, but I can see many things you can do. Achieve amazing things, live a good life. You will do all those things. No doubt about it. You are an amazing person." Meanwhile as I was crying my eyes out, the vet came back in and said it was time to let her go. I walked out of the room, and took one look back. "Goodbye Grace."

La vida, tan rara como enamorarse, es bonita si la vives, es dificil en algunos momentos, es..., perfecto si no pasas mas de una etapa. Con esto escribo que yo mismo, odio la vida, odio el amor, odio el enamorarse, odio lo bonito, las sonrisas, la felicidad, odio todo lo relacionado con la vida y el amor, porque se que he pasado mas de ochocientas mil etapas y lo unico que uno quiere es, quedarse en la primera, como cuando naces y quieres ser pequeño, no te das cuenta, pasas etapas, pero cuando eres grande, añoras mas que nada estar..., en el principio de todo.

I've been listening to this piece since 2015... I heard it on this studying compilation when I wanted music to listen to while doing homework. When I heard this part, I liked it, and searched it up immediately. Listening to it brings back good memories.
