Well they kinda can cos she didn't stay in place and hold her pose. Weightlifting is about forum and she didn't even stay on spot or hold the bar for long enough. She needs to stay in one spot, hold and release. Even holding too long is a disqualification. What she did endangered her own health. Heavy weight is a total shock to the nervous system as it never gets used to such weight bearing loads. Doing stuff like that messes with your spine.

This was a complete disgrace on the part of the officials. Rogers gets the down signal when two of them signal White as she gets control under the bar, at which point she drops it and after she starts the drop one the white light referees changes to red. The competition did not have the replay technology in place and no jury either reportedly. Rogers has no remedy. The IWF and PAWF approved this continental OG qualification competition to take place in a location incapable of delivering the technical requirements for a major international qualification competition. Ridiculous.
