Glad I came here, just because of the thumbnail: I'm Bavarian, living just on the other side of these mountains and this looks very much "at home" for me, very similar landscape (and I've been to Südtirol many times, beautiful place...). The first shot looks like the famous one in The Sound of Music. The font of the title - you start thinking, oh, very Tarantino-ish, or is it a giallo hommage. The woman in the flamboyantly red dress moves like an ironised Gret Palucca. A tribute to a singer (I haven't heard of) that is what I learn. Nicely done, big smirks!

I've invested a little time to find out about Gibbs. It now seems fair to me to count her as one of the trail blazers of genre crossing (does that ring a bell?). In her time, mainly the 80s, the genres were quite sharply confined camps, and it was pretty much either or. What I've understood is that she, with only some success, tried to find ground in country as in pop. She's still around these days, only 70 years of age, her musical focus, though, shifted to Christian music.
