As the General said DoD is under a forty year term contract with IIAF and termination of service prior to 2028 would be considered a breach of the terms of contract. Failure to faithfully execute that contract would also be grounds for desertion including but not limited to the removal of standard issue items without an approved replacement.

What i find most consoling is that he recognizes the necessity of all Americans in and out of uniform to participate in their country's welfare and to be the shining light of freedom, liberty, protections needed to have Pursuits of Happiness a reality and fulfill the mission statement "that all men are created equal and endowed with certain unalienable rights, among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness -- That to secure these Rights Governments are instituted among men, ..." for the world as we are meant to be. IMO
