Have fun David! As a moroccan i would like to advice you to check the prices first when you order food, and if you're fed up with eating tajine and couscous, moroccan cuisine has so much more to offer. If you want to take a break from moroccan cuisine, there's anything you're craving for (American fast food, asian, french, italian etc.) . And my final piece of advice, take lots of anti-diarrhea pills with you. Especially if you intend to eat watermelon, and salads. Always add lemon juice to your salads, or ask for vinegar. Not trying to scare you. Again, have fun!

@@anonymousanonymous8255 Hi, thanks for advice. A quick question. I'm staying at a Riad in the Medina, but I would like to get out of the tourist area for a day, see how real Moroccans live. What area should I head to?

i have been to Agadir and Essaouira (a friend of mine went before and recommended it to me) and i can tell Moroccans are really the nicest people i have ever meet. Essaouira was the most healing experience of my life!! i liked how people really treaded me normally, like i'm just a regular citizen, no scammer, no weird looks, nothing at all. The city felt soo raw, like you can literally smell the sea everywhere you goes. the traditional port and fishing, make you connect even more with the sea and see how grateful and precious those people treated it. most of all, what i loved is how secure i felt wherever i went. an experience i want to live again definitely.

What a beautiful way to pay homage to such a beautiful part of the world 🌍. Morocco is one of my favourite places to visit. I have been there three times already. I just recently been to Morocco 🇲🇦 I went to Essaouira (on a photography workshop) which I absolutely loved. The photography in Morocco is endless, so much to see. I will be going to Morocco again, back to Marrakesh (where I first visited Morocco) but for a longer stay, and of course doing lots of photography, then hopefully 🙏🏽 go to visit and see Fez later in the year. I have watched your previous videos and I like your honesty about the places that you have been to in Morocco. It is heart felt ☺️ keep up the good work. 👍🏽

Hello from morocco
@thejokeryt96712 жыл бұрын
this is the best way to describe morocco, as a moroccan myself, i've found it hard to describe this beautiful country to foreigners on the internet that ask me if they should visit and how it's like, you've visited many places and there's waaaaaaay more to visit, next time visit tangier and ifrane, espescially ifrane, it's a city in the mountains, very famous and a fairly big tourist attraction center, famous for the old lion stone statue carved by hand, but my advice is don't spend much money there, as the shops there know tourists come there a lot, so they higher the prices, i live in a city close to ifrane called azrou, it's a medium to small sized city, very nice people, and calm, but you wouldn't find much of the cultural traces here, there's much more to visit, perhaps i can write another comment when i've gathered all the beautiful places i've visited and put them in a list, next time somebody asks me to describe this country i will send them this video.

Rosalia,when I went to Morocco I visited all three of the towns you mentioned.I would also highly recommend them. The natural landscape around Tafraout is absolutely stunning and very easy to walk to from town. We liked the friendly small town vibe of Taroudant so much we went there twice.The market there was a good size without being overwhelming and the shopkeepers were very nice.We bought most of our souvenirs there. I'll never forget the morning we went up on the roof of our hotel in Tiznit to get a good view of the town.One of the hotel maids was up there hanging up washing to dry in the fresh air and sunshine.We apologized to her,thinking we were in her way.She said oh no no,it's fine but went away.We thought,Oh we really have disrupted her work and felt bad.Just a minute later,as we were going to leave,she returned with a bouquet of daisies and gave them to me with a warm smile. You are welcome in Morocco,she said.Such a sweet and gracious gesture,from the heart. That is a true story and that is the true Morocco,incredible hospitality and warm loving people who honestly want visitors to feel welcome.

You’re absolutely right and this video hopefully gives people just a glimpse of what’s outside of the tourist areas. I’ve been coming to and from Morocco from the US for 5 years (I’m originally from California), it’s like my second home. Once you learn how to navigate the “scammers” and people constantly trying to sell you something in cities like Marrakech, you will truly see the hospitality of Moroccan people. Even in Marrakech. I’ve spent a lot of time with my adoptive family in the south, near Zagora, and they are some of the most beautiful, kind, genuinely welcoming people I’ve ever met. I’ve been to 34 countries and I’ve met a lot of kind people. But Moroccans are truly special. Great video!
