Last time a much shorter race like that happened (in conjunction with fixed setups also being introduced) was when Daniel Grey setup a poll in the forums and got his viewers to vote in favour of shorter races, yet the only drivers who showed up were the regulars racing the car beforehand from outside Australia and hated the fact they were forced into running shorter races + fixed sets, some regulars stopped racing and it nearly killed the international participation There are very early stages of proposals to slightly trim race lengths so drivers can jump from the global server series to the Aussie servers only series and race every hour that they're on

The Supercars are so good. I love that at the end of every lap when I'm crossing the finish line, I'm always feeling a "phew, man, here we go again"
