Where can I find those boots with the added knee protection? Didn’t see them on the J5 webpage, thank you!

Is there an order you like to do for teaching each of these cues?

How often do you rebrand your manes? Do you have someone special to do that? Love your videos

Quick question. Probably a dumb question but can a horse be trained to know voice commands for everything they do. For example can you say trot and they trot, etc...

yep! mine were all voice trained

Yes. All of mine are. But I use my seat and other natural aids for transitions within the gait.

What is your honest opinion on the heads in the ground? A lot of us think it just unnatural and sivk??
@malindayoder4540 Жыл бұрын
It’s actually a lot more comfortable for the horses to have their heads low than a lot of people think it is, a lot of people assume natural head set is having it up but in reality it’s a lot harder on a horses back to have their head up

Low heads are not found on wild horses!

@@sharonmorgan256These are not wild horses, but horses in the wild eat with their heads down and they eat about all the time, so nothing unnatural about it. Most Quarter Horses are bred and built lowheaded and they choose to be in that position (as you can see in the video as well). I think it is more unnatural when horses are forced to keep their head up while the rides has short reins. In reining and western we let the horse loose and we like to let them move in frame, but also in a position they are collected and comfortable in. Modern quarters horses are more low headed than old school quarter horses, but they all know how to use their bodies in a way that is comfortable for them.

@sharonmorgan256 Actually they are.. horses have their head low when they're relaxed. They will even do something called snaking, which a dominate horse will put their head way down and ears back, which is telling another horse to move.

pleaseeee do a video on getting their headset down (besides their breeding)

He has a few on those! Getting the head down is a result of being broke laterally.

You want them to collect. Head down is a side effect.

Your problem is not your shoulder, why check you the horses every time. Look in this eyes, no horsemanship
