Thanks that was a great video I love your approach if they get nervous on the trail. And mariposa is gorgeous
@tinataylor50263 жыл бұрын
I agree 9 times out 10 the reason the horse acts out is because the rider is expecting it to because they are already nervous over doing something new with their horse the horse will follow the leader

I did the same with one of my horses when he was two years old. If you ask me, I would ride two years old all day long for as long as I can put one foot in front of another. They're just sweet.

Do you generally prefer snaffles for trail work? Or does it just works better with this mare?
@equestrianna133 жыл бұрын
I think it's also important, especially if you are out trail riding by yourself, to wear a helmet. You are in an unpredictable environment, and no matter how much control you have over your horse, anything can happen and in the event of an accident you must protect your head!
@horsegurl2563 жыл бұрын
it's a riders choice -_-
@equestrianna133 жыл бұрын
@@horsegurl256 It's not a choice to have your brains splattered on the ground, but yeah ok, weed out the ones who "choose".

High performance horses need " time off" from competition. It's good for their brains and relaxation.

You have the reiners slump. Sit up straight. You're tipped too forward with your head down. Looks amateurish!
