A lot of people forget how McLaren also bottled at Silverstone for a Lando win in his championship challenge. They asked HIM for what tires he wanted… when they had just pitted Oscar onto new mediums (which Lando also had available). That could have potentially been a 7 point swing as Max took p2 away from Lando. Everyone always mentioning Hungary and Monza let’s not forget Silverstone.

That's on Lando. As you said they asked him, he is the one who made the wrong call. Oscar was put on mediums because when they asked him if medium was the best option he said that is definitely what he wanted. The only mistake McLaren made was keeping Oscar on slicks for an extra lap.

@@JMRope thing is, lando's shoddy race engineer phrased it horribly and asked if he wanted softs to cover hamilton or mediums to cover verstappen and obviously at the time, norris is trying to win and his best chances are to keep the car directly behind him (hamilton) by pitting for softs or so that's what he thought with the information given. had the team insisted on the medium because it was a stronger tyre and lando didn't overshoot his pit mark, a win was definitely on the table.

I expect Ferrari to be as strong as in Baku's quali and i see Sainz this time getting the 1-2 on the grid for the team. This will be so crucial, in baku if Sainz would've been 2nd on the grid and after first lap behind Charles then Charles would've won comfortably. I think this time Sainz will be better than he was in baku and I think with a 1-2 on the grid Ferrari can even get the 1-2 on sunday if they won't screw their drivers like they did with Charles last year.

I think Matt predictions about Red bull pace in singapore will be in close to midfield than to the front could be really possible and even in the RB19 both cars last year they didn't qualifiy to Q3 but only way it will help Max and Red bull if the race was have crazy wet race like the weather forecast says it will be rain alot but it could be mix Wet/ Dry race and also Matt Ferrari will bring a new Flexi front wing so they are the one could be the best car or have similar pace to McLean like last few races so i expect like last year race finish A DRS train between McLean and Ferrari to the finish line but Mersedes again only chance for podium is if some cars in Front is DNF like in Baku so the podium in singapore is either will be have two McLeans and one Ferrari or two Ferraris and One McLean in my opinion
