My wife and i have been married for 43 years. If we had any advice on a long and happy marriage it is: Don't lean on each other. If you both are both leaning on the Lord, you can not fall. If one of you does fall, the other will still be standing and with Gods help can reach out and lift the other one up. Also, no matter how bad of a fight you get into NEVER say "maybe we should get a divorce". Even if you really didn't mean it, that only breaks the ice for future fights and it gets easier and easier to consider as a viable possibility. Continue growing in you walk with Jesus and congratulations.

My precious bride and I have been married for 50 years now and though we have had some difficult moments, marriage is the best institution ever created.
