Metal Cat can take a maximum of 12 hits, but will only get knocked back 2 times, meaning that he can stop the progress of a single enemy, regardless of its attack power, by standing in front of it for two times 6 hits. Hence, he is very useful against powerful enemies with slow attacks, such as Dark Emperor Nyandam, THE SLOTH or Kory.That being said, another utility for Metal Cat is to allow the player to build his/her money while Metal Cat stops the progress of a giant enemy tough to kill.However, what makes Metal Cat a good unit is also his downfall; as said before, Metal Cat will die after 12 hits, no matter what. Against quick enemies such as R. Ost (If R. Ost crits, then Metal Cat dies even sooner), or even Squire Rel, his use will be pointless. When there are a lot of minions, rather than wasting $600, use your usual tough meatshields such as Eraser Cat and Crazed Wall Cat.

1. Metal is good against enemies with very high attack and not super fast attack speed (like the manic eraser on the maniac eraser stage, the sloth, the face, nyandams etc). It can also help on enemies where you need just a bit more defense till you can get a goos stack going like some bore varients. 2. You can probably beat a lot of manic stages its just that they are about spawning mid range procers or attackers not really ubers, especially draconian. 3. Do more stories of legends. 4. Mertoz is a weird one as unless you have very specific ubers the stage relies on timing, actually one awakened bahamut cat and 2 crazed girafe can beat the stage but here is where timing comes in to play. 5. For future special only stages get loincloth cat a lot as it breaks barriers and get the true form of lil gross cat because he can knockback alines easily. The stage to get him is super easy even thpugh its deadly just use cool japan combo as well as awakened bahamut cat and paris cat spam without meatsheilds, lure spawn bahamut and spam paris and win. 6. For begginers who see this all your catfood should go towards garenteed uber spins matt is just using it on other things bevause hes given catfood. 7. Belive it or not one level 30 awakened bahamut cat and nothing else besides on cannon blast can beat somolon. 8. Dont use jamieras or titans on short range enemies especialky if they are single target as jamieras point in cat life is to tank throuhg enemies or tank through atacking lines and get up close, most short range enemies have imense damage and are better dealt with mid range attackers. If its cost restricted its better to use lions or islands that have more kockbacks so they have more sirvivakity, use them as shields in high cost stages, then there are gacha tankers like sadako cat and high level maximum the fighters. 9. Dont use delinquent, its bad and it really needs a true form as you have better alternatives such as soon to be true form shamen cat and especially sanzo cat. 10. Whenever you see red enemies use tropical kalisa, pretty much always no exeption if its a red stage. Its not the best anti red uber sin the entire game for nothing. 11. Gorigori os planet of the apes as siluman would say. 12. Actually I like that stage its original but not as good as black hole which is actually very fun and interesting if you play it without ubers. 13. Dont use the wiki as its stats are wrong and outdated (just see battle cats spica instead) and definitky dont use it for stratergies, thats what guides on youtube are for just serch battle cats, the level name and whatever its star dificulty is if it has one higher than 1 star. 14. Use catman more. Also keep using that uebr ranking you found on reddit its made by some of the best players.

Matt, before you try the final level of the chapter, you need the superior treasures from Broton, N77 Nebula, and Black hole, or else the final boss of the chapter will have over 15,000,000 health and 600,000 damage, which is not great as it already has a range of 1000

Metal Cat can only take ONE DAMAGE. No matter what. If he doesn't get crit, that is, then he dies. At *max level* he has 12 health, and therefor can take 12 hits, not more, not less, no matter what. He is really good in stages with few if not no peons, and one/two big enemies that does a lot of damage.

Metal cat is by no means the best but they are extremely tanks at high levels. They're able to take a lot of abuse but they aren't the best at it. There are some other cats that can take a lot of damage but those are somewhat difficult to find
