The 2nd section in tombstone refered to "Gold plants" and "Diamond plants". Excluding gacha levels, almost all levels will force you to lock that plant into your seed slots Gold plant require you to beat all 3 stages with that said plants to unlock it. They are often times very powerful so there's caveat, with each Gold plant on the field, the cost to plant raised by 100. For example, Gloom Pumpkin has 200 sun cost as default, if you plant one, the next one will cost 300 sun, then 400 sun. The sun cost depends on total amount of said plants, so if you lost said plants the cost to replant also decreased accordingly Diamond plant require you to beat all 6 stages with that said plants to unlock it. They are oftens time very unique with more unique texture and effects rather than combining abilities from OG PvZ. Usually these plants have quite long CD, AFAIK except the green box, all of them has CD equals or more than 30s Recommended Gold plants - Queen Sunflower: This is the best gold plant and THE BEST plants in the game. You're playing v 2.5.1 so she even got buffed that she can be planted right at the start. With earlier version you need to wait entire 30s as she start with CD. She gives 150 sun / 25s and shoot 6 homing fire pea / 3s. The minimum sun they give each stage is 500 sun so you can always plant her right at the start. With her sun economy is just so easy to manage - Gold Melon: The absolute best DPS in the game. This thing throw 2 gold melon, deals 150 DMG each. Not only that, after the gold melon hit an enemy, it will produce additional effect - 50% chance for additional melon, 30% chance for additional winter melon, 4% chance to instantly destroy armor, 1% chance to hypnotize the zombie, and very small chance to give you trophy to instantly complete the level - Spikerock Tallnut: This can be planted directly on soil and roof, but not on water, it only cost 300 sun and quite durable, it can stand 8 smash / crush for Gargs or Zomboni Recommended Diamond plants - Marigold of Wealth: This is the best ST DPS, every 3.5s she will shoot currency at enemies. 60% for 10 silver (100 DMG each), 30% chance for 4 gold (500 DMG each), 10% chance for 3 diamond (1000 DMG each) - Seed packet hologram: This thing will reduce sun cost of every plants except Diamond ones by 25 sun for each one planted. This can't be eaten or crushed and can be planted direcly on soil that usually need pots to do so, however this hologram can't be planted on water even with pads. Each time you use hologram the price will be double, from 200 to 400 -> 800 -> 1600 -> 3200. It's best to plant 3 of them to gives 75 sun cost reduction for all non-Diamond plants Other plants can be depended on your prefrerence. But I will suggest targeting these 5 first, some other plant is also great but their stages aren't easy

In regard on that "mini games" tab (the button helow the main adventure), it wasnt minigames. Its a section that allows you to unlock the plants shown in the portrait. If you beat all 3 or 6 levels that showcase thatplant, you can unlock that plant for use in the main adventure and others. The actual minigames tab is accessable from the "mini tombstone" on the main menu. The small bag is the shop. The shop is a bit confusing to navigate tho

I think you get the missing plants by completing the challenge levels, which is the second option in the main menu tombstone. Each plant has three designated levels. Also if you don't know already, the garlic chomper can and would only eat zambony

Here's what I call the hybrid plants even though no one asked. Sun 'n pea, sun bean, sun bomb, torchnut, sun mine, snow tail, garlic chomper (nothing creative for this one), repetitive cactus, puff pot, sunshroomflower, winter fume, I couldn't quite see the grave buster hybrid, gargantuan hypno shroom, sunny shroom, icier ice shroom, peapad, snow squash, pea fountain, doomweed, chili cherry, butter weed, frostwood, sea cactus, snow lantern, spikeish wind, and cabbagecorntail. Keep up the great work! 😁

Hi Matt, Did you know that there is another mod like this called the fuse mod? except, instead of giving you the fused plants, you plant plants on top of each other and make the fusions yourself, the more you progress through the game, the more fusion "recipes" you unlock. Sidenote, the strongest plant in the game is... Wealthy Marigold (there are a few strongest plants, but this is consistent, and not an instant) A full column or two is enough to beat most levels in the game
