Imp Pear is a plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2 that was introduced in the 7.5.1 update. When Imp Pear is eaten, the zombie that ate it will be transformed into an Imp Pear Imp. If any Imp, regardless of if they were transformed by an Imp Pear or not, eats an Imp Pear, then the Imp in question will be destroyed and release a stunning gas that stuns other zombies in the lane for 7 seconds, similarly to Chili Bean. When Zombie Chickens and Ice Weasels eat Imp Pear, they will be destroyed on contact but the plant takes little damage.

impear goes perfectly together with shrinking violet, impear makes them imps and shrinking violet makes them dissapear since imps are too small already

Don't shrinking Violets cost like 25 sun? Impear costs 0 sun, so it could work whitout Shrinking Violet.

simple fact for matt: puffs shrooms are connected so if you plant food one puff shroom every puff shroom will also use plant food and also if you use a plant food on a puff shroom the timer of them disappearing will be the same as it was planted

The imp pear is extremely useful, it can make even the toughest of Zombies no more than a few shots of any plant, it's plant food is extremely useful for tough waves for example say too many knight zombies, it can trun them all into imps making the round much easier, it can also be used on levels where hard zombies are sent out sooner, soon enough you will play levels that start of with a bucket head and imp pear being free is really helpful there.

Matt, put your sun producers in the front., The pvz2 meta is much different than the first. Sun producers are less valuable and recharge very quickly so they're used as semi stallers sometimes. In pvz2 the heavy hitters go in the back since if any zombie even gets close to your house which is already unlikely, instead of eating attackers, they'll eat useless, replacable sun producers...your content is amazing btw!!

Imp pear and shrinking violet are a perfect combo. First save up 2 plant food and put up a imp pear to turn the horde into imps and shrinking violet with plant food just simply deletes imps

Pro tip for sun bean and the knight zombie at 15:40 sun bean’s plant food instantly destroys them upon being eaten, and the sun produced almost rivals a level 1 sun bloom(forgot name, but you use that plant a lot)! That specific zombie(aside from the harder versions of certain others) are the only ones that give good sun from the plant food effect.

you're gonna want to put your big attacking plants behind your sun producers. loosing a sunflower is a lot easier to manage than loosing something like a winter melon. Also since sun producers are so cheap id recommend just putting out around 4 rows or so of them so you can bring more expensive plants to use. however if you are going for lots of sun producers try to stall the early zombies as best you can with plants like iceberg lettuce and stunion. bring both. for more time to put them down. more zombies wont come unless you damage the ones already on the field. there is a time limit to how long you can go without spawning more though. just dig up sun producers in the bag if you need more room to put down more attackers. your gonna want to keep about 10 sunflowers or sunshrooms or whatever on the field at all times though.

Matt you should use the tile turnip with citro if you have it as a combo because you can place a tile turnip anywhere and place a plant on the power tile it leaves behind and you can plant food one plant on a tile and all the other plants on a tile will be plant fooded as well that’s my advice for you great duo

Fun fact matt:The zombie that you dont like is a jester so basically what it does is if you plant like a peashooter it will throw back at the plant so the best choice is a plant that doesnt shoot or throw things (use imp pear bonk choy fume shroom apple mortar and etc.) (edit: also if you found out i didnt see the whole video i paused it so that i can tell you also love your videos)
