Ducati is Ride by wire. In race mode the throttle opening is quicker early on. If you put it in Street mode or rain mode the throttle will open more gradually based on the twist of your throttle hand. Therefore smoother The Hayabusa has mechanical throttle. So your twist versus throttle opening is a one-to-one ratio
@vinmandich77562 күн бұрын
Don't tell em dam it man I want to see the loop out again
@verysmallcats1374Күн бұрын
Except the way that mechanical throttle cables open throttle bodies doesn't open it 1:1. The ratio of throttle plate tilt to air volume(let in by the throttle twist) is not a one to one ratio, it's a curve. Cams do alleviate this a bit though.

@AaronGottaHelmetCam3 күн бұрын
Hey Matt, just an FYI related to your suspension adjustment. So long as you are in the dynamic range of the damper, not topped or bottomed out, adjusting the spring collar will only change the sag / ride height. The spring itself needs to be exchanged for one with a lower rate if you want it to be softer. you probably want that spring pushed as far down as it'll got without topping the damper out to maximize ride height, but that will be at the cost of sag when the rear leaves the ground.

Matt, I don't know what's more impressive. Your magnesium welding abilities, plaid-moto off-road skills (you should patent a new class lol), or below freezing bare knuckle rides 🤯Seriously the coolest thing I've seen on the internet. Watching you drill the bodywork/metallurgy mods @ prob $15K OEM new parts, body work is $5K, tank alone is $5K, stock exhaust $4K, triple clamps, etc - made me cringe and laugh at the same time hahahaha. As a fully in tact 21 Panigale V4 owner, Ducati fan, and track rider, I enthusiastically approve. What's even more hilarious - pretty sure you found out ~100 mph to RL in 1st gear makes sense why you never shift - insane off-road speed. Shift to 2nd RL 130 - you got 4 left to 200 mph😆. All the thumbs up👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

@DaStuntChannel3 күн бұрын
The preload won't make the spring more stiff/less stiff, it just will change the initial behavior of the spring, if the preload higher, it takes a bit more force to move it. It essentially sets the ride height and not much more. But yes for sand it will help since it will track better under less force
