Next time you’re honing out the big ends on a conrod like that, find yourself a piece of aluminium pipe with the the same inside diameter, then use a few shims to clamp the conrod in place at the end of your pipe. That way (in my mind), those finger on that “cylinder-honing tool” have more surface area to rest up against so they can’t wobble around to much.
@mostlymotorized5 күн бұрын
Ducati is Ride by wire. In race mode the throttle opening is quicker early on. If you put it in Street mode or rain mode the throttle will open more gradually based on the twist of your throttle hand. Therefore smoother You will get Full Throttle opening in all modes except rain mode

The best thing you can do to make a Ducati engine last is let it warm up before riding, and change the oil and the weird long oil filter often. They like to shred connecting rod bearings if you don't let them warm up and you'll see the evidence in the oil

If this is a paying video dosen't that make this a business expense. A litteral tax write off
@Grandwigg4 күн бұрын
@dustinh4175 it still means he has to pay for it. Tax write offs are generally a fraction of the purchase cost, similar to how some places had tax credits from the purchase of electric cars or solar panels. This usually means a tiny bit left off the taxes they have to pay for the business. And often tax write offs don't matter too much until businesses get big enough to stack up a lot of them to be useful(And usually over a lot of different kinds). Still, it's a good thing that he probably could get a little benefit in tax season.

put a softer spring and oil in the back suspension, a very big sprocket to reduce the gearing, and a rich tune, to reduce heat and you have the perfect offroad panigale!
@BmanfreshКүн бұрын
Rich tune to keep the heat down? Would this work in my 22” r7 it sure seems like the ending gets hot almost immediately after starting it. But never said it was over heating the engine is hot hot within 3 minuets of just cold starting it
@martux6815Күн бұрын
@Bmanfresh modern bikes run at a really lean stechiometric tune (14.7 to 1) to generate less pollution, but causes high running temperatures
@BmanfreshКүн бұрын
@ okay yeah my bike had the ecu flashed and the o2 sensor removed because my friend broke it while removing it and once I went to have the ecu flashed I told them turn it off pls . So he did and then also I think he made it to where my bike wasn’t as lean. But seems like that didn’t really change the level of heat my engine created.

awesome video I love the build. I'm a sport bike guy but this is awesome. Also the reason the throttle feels funky at low rpms with the new exhaust is because the OEM muffler/cat is pretty restrictive and the bike is factory tuned for it. With the new exhaust you've opened the system up a lot more so the fuel ratios aren't set for that change. An ECU flash would fix that

At least I think you use it before and the powder was stuck on the piston so the gas run out. Next time you should by one (6kg powder) The powder is great for burning oil, gasoline, wood or any fuel. But the Co2 is better far fire by wire or electrical fire.
