Wow, these amazing German camper van’s ( class B’s ) are all under 100,000 US Dollars and they are engineered so well. Great interiors and colors, quality all the way! How can they charge so much less than in the US?

Love the blue. Love the cabinets, drawers, soft close, and those locks. That bike rack is awesome. All RV’s should incorporate those features.

Great that you had fun over here ! Hymer is owned by the Thor, expect that more european class-b ideas are swapping' over to the 🇺🇸 marked. If the front wheel drive sprinter will make it to north america is a thing from mercedes. The 19 inch fwd sprinters offer 3,2 inch more head room as the rear wheel & 4wd/awd versions. Theys are lighter, lower and they run the 9 speed automatic. The price for camper vans in germany went about $ 15.000 up since 2020, but is still cheaper as the average class b van in north america.

Well, unlike Matt, I didn't memorize all the model names, but, I like the customizable wall in the one van, The wider toilet with the fold down sink was a nice touch. I like how they did the side windows in the back. The lower bed in the 2 wheel drive van is good, and I'm torn between the one that looked purple with green stripes (might have been the lights) and that striking blue model. I think I would skip the pop-up top. Seems like that would let in too much cold even closed.

Why does it seem these vans AND many other European class b's seem so much more stylish AND quite a bit cheaper than similarly featured ones in North America? Also YES to the bike rack - those were two substantial E-mountain bikes and it didn't seem to difficult to snap it back into place and location wise less likely to get dirtied up by the van's rear tires.

Lots of wow's but that bike rack is OUTSTANDING!!! Wake up America ;-) We need these! Cabinetry is fantastic, the whole line very modern and clean looking as well as over the top function/quality in the space. Biggest downside, bathroom/shower too small.Thanks for sharing these Matt and Andrea!

These are class Bs. Germany does great at making these. I love the blue ones. And the interior. Very nicely made. Thank you for the tour of the Buckingham Palace. Can’t wait to see more Rvs from Germany.

I am speculating here; cost more here due to shipping, meeting USA safety requirements and import duties. Maybe other reasons. American builders seem excruciating slow to incorporate European design features that appear to be more user friendly.

Europe has similar safety standards and even more stringent emissions. So I don't get it, that 3rd one was 60k euros? You can't get the base van for that here.

@@xToddmcx I haven't checked in years but I recall they didn't meet our bumper standards, emissions standards and headlight criteria. I know that people who bought a Mercedes in Europe had to make expensive modifications before importing. One work around was to live over there for a period of time. I don't recall the details but if rules are still similar you can save a bundle by buying there and leaving the vehicle there for the required period.

You actually cannot import these vehicles to the US unless they are older than 25 years. It is to protect the US industry.

I have been a fan of the European makers of B class vans as well as what we call in the US B+ class vans for 4 or 5 years now. I say it because it's the Truth, the European RV makers have got the game correct. The quality and price are unheralded. I would love to see them come to America and share with our guys their methods and most of all the understanding that Capitolism doesn't put out good RVs. I am 62 and a disabled Vet that has terminal Cancer and uncurable Sarcoidosis who loves his country. It would be my dream to drive across and see my beautiful country, the very country that I lay down my life for, however, I simply cannot afford the vehicles offered here, the Capitolism Class Campervans. 😕

So Sad to see how far behind the US is on Class B vans...Europe off course has a much longer history then the US so the roads are much smaller...that is one of the reasons why they are so far ahead on the Class B or camper Vans... I wish we had half the choices here in the US not mention the prices too. Great video
