I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. Great video Matt. I’m still trying to dial in some larger ponds I kayak in my area. Old rock quarries. All are like highland reservoirs - gin clear, steep banks with grass. Some are just rock. This video will come in very handy.

I keep a swimjig tied on to throw into flooded bushes and I use a chatterbait instead of spinnerbait because everyone and I mean every single person around me throws spinnerbait. I saw 11 boats one day with two fishermen in each and everyone was throwing spinnerbait .

My charging system is the Powerpole charge and i don’t know when I’ll get to showing how to make a rattling lipless silent...but I’ll do it at some point! So stay tuned!

Just caught this video. At the 4:30 mark you make comment that “if they won’t come up and hit the jerkbait” that’s where the crankbait is useful. Earlier you had said to use a “relatively shallow” running Frittside crankbait. Did I misunderstand you? Also, I looked to find your membership options on the recent end of March video but I can’t for the life of me see where to look at that info. Thanks. Good luck in your tournaments.

if they wont come up for a jerkbait you want to get a crankbait down to the bottom where the fish are. As for the membership if you are on a computer you should see the join button on my you tube homepage. All the info is there. If you are on a mobile device you need to use the youtube app and go to the membership tab next to the community tab on my youtube homepage. all the info is there.
