I buy everything core tackle makes. You have the most inovative tackle I have used in my 50 years of fishing. Everything you make catches fish not fishermen. Thanks for your creativity and great videos happy new year and best wishes to you and your family.

Mat, I used this rig Tuesday. I put it through some pretty thick wood and brush with no problem. I normally will get hung up and loose several hooks in a few hours of fishing a wacky rig, but I fished this one for 3 hours and not once did I get hung up!! this is the best thing out there for wacky rigging!!!

Great point on the weed guard being able to customize it for each situation. Plus I agree on the small bend at the end of the guard by the hook...

Also need a bigger hooked and bigger weighted one for the bigger worms

Got to put them to use Christmas day with my son. They definitely work very well and, like you said, skip like a dream. I always used the owner weedless sniper finesse hook with the vmc rings for my wacky rigs and allowed me to switch quick to a neko rig. We hooked a few smallmouth and had no problems keeping them pegged. I always use a weedless hook for wacky rigs so I don't see a need for non weedless. I would love to see one with a larger hook to use for 6" stick baits. Those are my go to on Chickamauga in the summer. Going to order more for the season

I just got my order from the Core Tackle site and these are well designed!! Like you mentioned I think a 1/16oz version would be a good addition and maybe one size slightly bigger than an 1/8oz for bigger worms? Just a thought and you guys make some incredible stuff!! Thanks Matt and your channel is awesome!!
@MichaelSwirzewski6 сағат бұрын
The screwlok looks nice, but i've learnt to bring a torchlighter& bait needle for saltwater w me: heat the needle& pass it quick through the hookhole if u get the worm back after catching a bass, or it gets wore from tossin it'. melt, quickly re-fuze the hole w pressure& ready to re-hook. can get a few bass or have like 2-3 worms last all day that way. can even fuse 2 colors together& make a head n tails worm. ill try them core side by w traditional wacky jighead. I bet ya some days one will outproduce the other just because if difference in action.

Matt, I fish around a lot of cover and the other weed less hooks don't work. I T-rig weed less most of the time, not wacky. Now I use the Ozark Rig. I can cover more water with it and feel I catch just as many bass. I think this new weed less wacky hook is JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED as they say. I will be purchasing these hooks. Now I will be able to fish the thick cover wacky style. I think It will be a TW best seller as soon as they get there. You & Jonny are doing a great job at Core Tackle.

Core Tackle has great stuff and this is no exception. I still prefer a double weedguard. I fished some light NED rigs with the single wire guard and they do tend to get caught on docks and wood.

Excellent content, Matt, and looks like this setup is gonna be dynamite. I was browsing the website of one of the big box sporting goods stores to see if I cold get some ASAP and saw that the hitch hiker is positioned on the back side of the hook bend as opposed to the hook shank being threaded through the center of the hitch hiker. Wouldn't this design (hitch hiker on the back of the hook) be a less effective package and presentation?

that hookpoint deal is going to be key for pressured finicky biters come tourney time though- i can see it. i would now reccomend guys to buy paks to snip weedguard, paks to keep intact

Hello, can you do a minnow shaking seminar video right there from your garage maybe show us the Rod the real the line the braid to the leader what size minnows say maybe for our open water or deeper a little bit deeper water I’m gonna get out and try to do some of that I’ve never done it. I just got my active target lined up. A lot of the guys are just getting into it. This is actually foreign territory cell. I figured I’d ask cause you’re probably one of the best guys on the Internet with the knowledge of this stuff right now great videos really get me through the winter mat. Smallys and spots 10 to 20 ft deep sharp shooting maybe throw in a few clips of fish eating on FFS

Hey Matt. So, these jigs are hand made? Correct?? If so, Is it possible to order it with the a different hook, one with a “slick” grey coating? Bkk, Ryugi ect. Or have you ever thought about selling the components only? Showing the people how to attach them to their own hook. Just a suggestion. Thanks.

Can you make it closer to the hook point/barb to make it the hook point/barb is hidden/covered; or make a line through wacky rig and a line through wacky rig that hides/covers the hook point/barb. And make line through swimbait jighead and big line through harness swimbait that covers/hides the hook point/barb
