I have the same gloves as you and I have to take them off when I catch a fish using jerkbaits. Those hooks love those gloves. I have broken hooks trying to remove them from the gloves. Great videos!

Good video! Agree with your commentary on color being so important with jerkbaits! The stunna 100 size has good action, but sure wish they made it a 3 hook model. 110 JR series will stay my favorite until then!

You are awesome Matt and always respond quickly. Thanks and I made a type O and meant to say 3 treble hooks on the Vision 110 Jr. I did notice the Stunna 100 you were using had bigger treble than a Vision 110 Jr so balancing the bait make sense for it to act like the 112 which has that slow sink. I will try and find on sale once they get up here in Ontario at my favourite baitshops!

Ypu certainly have worn out that sand drop over the years. It's nice to fish those types of locations now that the lake is deserted. I agree the size of the smallmouth are generally on the smaller side.

When fishing in your small boat how do you pack for the day? In big bass boats you can haul everything. I fish from a small boat, but sometimes struggle with tackle management

Looks great. But at 3 1/32" that is 77mm, so it really should be called a Stunna 77. Megabass does it too with the Vision 110Jr which is actually 98mm (just under 4"). Not sure why all the companies can't decide on one designation.

Not sure who manages that lake or how big it is, but probably needs some serious Bass culling. Catch and release of smaller Bass has actually hurt and stunted Bass in many fisheries.

Been using megabass X-70s and osp high cuts for years, this is not a new concept. I use a megabass P5 cyclone topped with a steez Air TW and it's a perfect combo.... Definitely not budget friendly though. I'll use a P5 or X10 with a stinger tip when it's super windy out. But anything like a 110 jr+1 up to a regular 110 stays on a baitcaster, feels like I get better action with a casting rod.

Awesome looking jerkbait. Would be interesting for your feedback on why they did not go to a 3 treble bait which I do prefer myself. I know the holy grail of jerkbaits in the Megabass Vision 110 Jr and Jr plus 1 come with smaller 2 treble baits so would like to know your thoughts. Thanks and whst a bite on an awesome bait!
@MattStefanFishing24 күн бұрын
I think a lot of it has to do with weighting the bait properly
@harryaterui247424 күн бұрын
I like the Vision 110 Jr. But have mixed feelings about the hooks. When there are big fish around, they get bent petty quickly. I know that you are supposed to set your drag loose, but don’t like playing fish out too long.
