It reminds me more of a wedding cake than it is a home. It is beautiful, if you like perfection, and more of a showpiece. I like a more lived in look with beautiful fabrics and colors, and lots of books and beautiful art. Everyone to their own taste though.

I really like her style. I think she has great tastes, specifically her design choices and colour palette and use of space... There might be a little more panelling than I personally would have but every corner makes sense... more or less spot on. The chandelier choice above the seating arrangement..! Very nice

Gorgeous home with wonderful features. The trim work was a great idea and all of the built ins are fantastic for keeping things tidy, especially with children. Woman after my heart lol! Can’t understand why the kitchen cabinets (and other cabinets in general) didn’t go to their ceiling? Would have looked much classier. The floor plan is fabulous but the grey interior looks quite dated. Shiny silver mirror frames and picture frames? ….would swap that out…the blingy look just looks cheap and very ‘new money’. A wonderful job on the panelling. Nice job overall….and the tour was really great. She did a wonderful job. That bathtub in the ensuite looks so out of place imo…..Thankyou!

Beautiful, yes, but I would be itching to add colour and wallpaper to every room. You can still stay 'neutral' and have a variation of tones, I just personally find whites and greys very cold to look at.

Very nice. Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis has a nice stairway trim on the side of each run that looks nice. Something like that may be nice for the stairway off the playroom. But sometimes more trim is just to much. Anyways very lovely home.

So disappointing the curtains are all the same colour - all plain grey/taupe. Curtains could have added so much interest to this house. While it’s lovely. It lacks interest in fabrics, colour and texture. But a beautiful home no doubt. Looks like everything must be the same.

As I watched this video, I kept thinking, thank God I don't have the 6500 square foot house any more. I wouldn't ever want to live in such a large home again. I guess people dream of a big house like this because they see celebreties have them, but once you live in it you realize it's just too big. It's a lot of house to heat! What on Earth do you need a hotel lobby on the second floor for? As for the decor, it's all very "nice", neat and expensive (especially the built-in cupboards) but it lacks soul and the entire thing makes me feel like it's a hotel, not a home. There is nothing of the woman on display but her admitted OCD. There is nothing of the boys on display. Simply no personality and yet I'm sure this girl has plenty of it. Go ahead and show it!

O wow ...that is so anal for the baby's room. You would expect a two year old to have a 'normal' bed, a colorful bedroom full of toys, and, a safety feature re: the stairs and landing. The glass shower in the en suite as well? An adult bedroom for a toddler is ridiculous. 😒

I really love the house but I would removed the big rugs on the first floor because the floor is so pretty. No hiding and it adds more warmth against the gray. But really nice the house.

You can get rails that you pull down. There can be retrofitted. It's a shame to ruin that custom woodwork for something that is temporary, because a ladder won't be required as they grow taller.

Soo beautiful... Hugh is the correct word...waÿ to big...I built 300 thousand sq ft, that was too big, and I have no kids...never really knew where to sit. Moved on the water down sized much happier...she is still young, I am older..you just do not care about all of that....enjoy sweetie❤

The house itself is obviously beautiful, but the decor was so disappointing, to me. Of course, all that matters is if the homeowner loves this decor. But, it's here on a KZbin video for us to comment on, so I did. I literally felt my heart sink a tad with each room, because they all look the same, tbh quite boring. I honestly don't mean this to be rude--I'm just sharing my preference which isn't only white, beige, and grey. 🤷‍♀️

Essex is the driest county in England, and most good quality garden furniture is reasonably weatherproof so can be left outside during the summer and stored over winter.
